"Rent" actual rent or a one time payment?

If actual rent, how do i see when the next payment is due? Don't know if I should rent a new place yet. Also, sidenote, how do i convert my drug money to money i can put in the atm?

as far as i can tell in my game so far its a one time payment, if its not i probably complete game before the second lot is due lmao

So rent is not actual rent, you buy the place and it is yours for good, or if there is rent, It happens once a month because I'm lvl 30 and haven't been ask to pay rent once. The downside of having a rented place is that the DEA can raid and steal all of your drugs even at random when your exposure or whatevs is low or high. It just has a higher chance. So I will list off perks and cons of renting compared to the pre-owned starter apt.

Renting

Pros:
-You can upgrade it to maximize and optimize space for drugs
-It gives you boost in the district it is bought in. (NOTE: Even if it is right next to another district, it will not give a boost to the other district)
-It is great for selling drugs to a certain location.

Cons:
-THE DEA CAN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RAID THAT ♥♥♥♥ DAWG

Starter Apt

Pros:
-The starter apt cannot actually be raided by the DEA as far as I know.
-Free... duh.

Cons:
-The area is not the best or the worst.
-You cannot upgrade the starter apt with more space at all.

Suggestion: Buy a hideout on both sides of the border for the best price and location.

That's odd its not letting you deposit, if it says come back later then you just unlock it with the furniture store but if your saying you can rent hideouts then you should be able to use it... Weird.

I rented a gerage and played for 10 hours after it. and they didn't take any money. so I guess its a one time payment.
to convert drug money u need to open the downtown first and Eddie will let u meet someone to laundry it for you.
or you can just deposit the money during police hours, which will not affect ur expostion level

Yes, it says I have no notes on me or something. Can't deposit the cash I get from selling drugs, and if I didnt misunderstand things, you use your bank account to buy the hideouts.
