Gaining Exposition at Night
As it says in the title, I have been noticing that my Exposition meter has been climbing steadily over the past three days or so in game.

I have been all my dealing at night, including only accepting orders after police hours take effect. I have enough vents in my indoor pot lab to avoid detection, or so the game tells me. My outdoor pot is very well away from any roads and shouldn't be drawing attention. The only thing I regularly do during daylight hours is getting money from my dealers, because I run out of time before I can get to them during the night.

So, is anyone else having this issue? Did you find a solution? Am I simply overlooking something?

Do you end up getting chased by police that can have a spike and collecting money during the day will also raise your exposure

No I have not been caught by police. I've been thankfully very cautious, and raising my volume at night is helpful as well.

I think your Stealth level has some impact on this. Last game I left it out and my exposure meter went higher than this time around.
All of my stats are at maximum. I have over 100 skill points and nothing left to spend them on.

My guess is that you're selling a couple kilos a day, then?

Also, I noticed my exposure meter went up considerably when I stopped using the underground for my trips between the sectors and instead went through the checkpoints. Every time I got searched, it seems the exposure went up, while it stays nice and low when I don't deal with the police too much.

I am also trying to figure this out.
So far I also got the suspicion that even getting searched at checkpoints between sectors, does reflect on your general Exposition level... so judging on the comment above, it is probably a correct suspicion :D
But I think that the number of hideouts owned also reflects on the absolute minimum that your factor can reach. Yesterday I bought the last remaining hideouts in sector A (the 3 in Stink) and since then I cannot get below "fox of wallstreet" level.
Dealing only at night, second difficulty, some days I do not even see another person, let alone cops - I mix stuff and tend to my outside garden which is at the Docks site and I use that warehouse as HQ... and yet I do not decrease to "dope ninja" level.
oh.. and also - I have only 6 areas unlocked (West OT, East OT, Marketplace, Stink, Kennel and 2Towers). So no Ballena (I hate the fat f*ck and all the bugs, related to his 'mission').

I’ve also added one or two more vents than you actually need for indoor plants cause a few times if loaded in and the gate to the sheds were locked hasn’t happened again after increasing the vent to 7 when I only need 5

To catch up with all the suggestons, I have indeed noticed I have been using the tunnels less. But, I wasn't using the tunnel during the day unless I was transporting drugs between sectors. If simply being searched has an impact that is something I will have to watch for. That said, since I'm using a dufflebag due to the volume I sell every night, I have been paying for the technical tunnels.

I have currently purchased every hideout in sector A and B, but none in C. I am also stuck in Fox of Wallstreet levels. But, I do sales every night, and certainly some high volume stuff with dealers.

I did not know about the sudden increase in vents required. I will see to that from here out and see what develops.

I've got some additional info on the matter (I apologize in advance for the long post, TLDR in the end :steamhappy: ). So I did another playthrough - second difficulty, all the sectors, all the drugs. Am level 35...ish (not quite sure, I may even be lvl40). Now what I did different was that I avoided all police interactions - travelled only through the sewers between sectors A and B, and have not yet done anything in sector C (besides initially going there to finish the tasks when I unlocked it. That was the only cop interaction I had for the whole playthrough - on the entrance checkpoint). I even did Alt+F4 a couple of times when the cops wanted to search me even though I did not have drugs on me. Aaand... I am still at "dope ninja" exposure level.
I am dealing only during the night in sector A (dealers order a lot and all the remaining clients are addicts, so they order big as well). During the day I go to sector B and do deals there (I got Supermarket, Downtown, West Deadtown and Mid Deadtown areas - 8 or 9 clients, a few of them addicts and 1 dealer). I own all the hideouts in sector A, none in sector B and only the starter in sector C (but again I have only been there once).
Now I got to "Fox of wallstreet" lvl once when I did two selling sprees in sector B - one in the morning and one in the evening. But the next morning it went back down after I did my sector A selling spree. I even did a couple of laundry deposits during the day - no increase in exposure.
TLDR:
So in conclusion to this tirade - I am pretty sure that only the amount of drugs sold during the day and ALL cop interactions are what increases your exposure level.
Happy dealing y'all :steamhappy:

Collecting cash during the day will also raise your expo
v7 Mar 28, 2022 @ 6:35am
Here's everything that affects your exposition (during day time)
- Dealing (drugs or collecting cash, client or dealer)
- Getting searched (very slightly)
- Police Chases
- Getting Busted (getting caught with drugs will affect it more)
- Getting searched while spraying a wall
- Giving free samples (counts as a deal during daytime)
- Being in debt (bank account balance is negative for a longtime)
- Depositing more than ~$400 daily will start affecting exposition
- When growing weed indoors, not having enough air filters will start affecting exposition depending on how many filters you're missing to meet the requirement
- When growing outdoors, if too many plants get found & destroyed by cops it'll start affecting exposition depending on how many plants get found out

Exposition takes into account the past 3 days (average), it also updates slowly now.
If your exposition is climbing steadily; without apparent reason; you probably did a lot of dealing ~3 days ago, and now that the average of your criminal exposition factor is higher because it no longer takes into account the previous 2 days that were clean if that makes sense.

Another update with my playing.

I have made sure to install more filters in my indoor pot garden. I have 8, when the highest I've seen it needing is 5.

I have made sure to not get caught while dealing, only doing so at night. Dealing in all sectors means that sometimes one or two in sector C happen in the first minutes of day time.

I go through checkpoints when I got nothing on me. This has not changed.

I collect money during the day. This has not changed.

My outdoor pot garden is far away from any cops. This has not changed.

My exposure has started to decrease slightly. I think it may have been a bug involving my indoor pot garden.
Crimson Chris Mar 28, 2022 @ 10:39pm
That’s good that you started to get it to decrease n yeah I had weird things happen when I only had the needed number of vents for my indoor grows that’s why I always over do it lolz
