i thought it gonna release expansions like destiny 2
because they fked up so much and didn't respect the older players when the DLC came out, making new players buy the base game and DLC for 50 bucks while owners of the base game had to pay 40 for the DLC, aka the full game price, that made the game DEAD. Most of the still-playing users simply said, Fk this I'm out and after PCF said that they won't do any new DLC and the game is finished, they moved on to another project. Only patches will be made to this game, and servers will be online while there's a minimal playerbase online. I mean all platforms, not just Steam, because on Steam the game is more dead than Division 1 in terms of player count.
and that was 1 of the reasons this game died if they actually made a game not like destiny ofc but a game like the division 2 wich is what outriders mostly was based of a look alike copy of division with flashy power istead os tech gadgets
they could have made a game last years to come but nope greed always comes first these days and it sucks that these devs and publishers dont give a crap about players anymore
One and done story with so-so DLC doesn't really keep people playing forever. I'd say it's still worth a look, on sale, to see if you like it but refund before the 2 hours if it isn't what you expected.
The same lack of competition also let's Destiny 2 continue riding complacency and stagnation.
no competition well Actually, that is incorrect the only game that is always toe to toe with D2 was and will always be Warframe a game that is still up since 2013 and still pulls 50k+ players daily and that is steam alone warframe is on all platforms from PS to xbox to nintendo and pc
Both are online mmo action space looter shooters with constant lore being added to both. Both are live service, and both are equally old. Both used to have raids, but not anymore.
I'm sorry, but WF and D2 have more in common than what you said about D2 and Borderland
