Windows 7 not supported
This game seems fun. It looks like something I would like to purchase and play. According to stats 4.4% of Steam users are still hanging on to windows 7. (for lots of reasons) Perhaps your company does not care about those potential customers. Or maybe you support the intrusive Microsoft monopolistic empire.

I think it would probably need just a few lines of code to let us few remaining freedom fighters enjoy a bit of gaming fun before we are finally defeated by the evil mega corp someday in the future.

An even bolder act would be to also offer native Linux support.

Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft, why would any company devote time and funds to support a literal dead OS, that the few still using it are likely on systems so old they don't even meet the minimum recommended specs for the game?

You are not freedom fighters, you are paranoid wackjobs :)

Less than 3% of users on Steam use Windows 7 so why bother supporting it when even microsoft doesn't care about it anymore. But I imagine the biggest reason would be for DirectX 12.

A game company has no incentive, but plenty of reasons not to, to support an OS that receives no technical support, software/security updates, and fixes from Microsoft; PCF is not a big studio and may not have had enough time to offer Linux support.

It requires a lot more than "a few lines of code." Users still running older versions of Windows most likely have outdated hardware that may no longer be supported, not to mention a high probability of not meeting the minimum required specs for the game to run.

I second what Monk said, as an obsolete OS without any support what so ever by even their makers, why would a gaming company waste an effort and funds to build a game under Windows 7. I know it's lazy to move on when your OS is running perfectly fine, but after you install Windows 10, you will notice the change, it dumps/flushes memory better, runs better, supports DX12 (in a near future DX12 is going to be a must for games) although you can change the visuals of win 10 to look like the 7... if that helps...
