I love the game. It's pretty addictive. I love to see more of everything. More buildings, customization, larger maps and so on.

Thank you WhiteKnight, we´ll do our best to make Regions of Ruin 2 even better than the first one! :steamsunny:

That's good to hear. I know this is time consuming. Could you do devlogs. I would to see how games are been developed. It's a pretty good to bring community and engage with them.

We plan to start a Youtube channel for our games with trailers, gameplay videos, soundtracks and devlogs too, probably. :steamsunny:

I´ll announce it when it´s ready.

It looks like I started playing RoR just in time to offer some feedback for its sequel.

• Addition: Museum Building - A place to store unique artifacts or items that the player has no use for but are too precious to sell or dismantle for lore related reasons. If one of these precious items is left out and despawns when the player leaves, bounties will have a chance to drop the item. There could be bonuses for complete sets and perhaps the building could earn money overtime like the inn/pub. There is also an obvious achievement name for completing the museum's collection.

• Improvement: Bounty Hunting - A number of NPC dwarves have met their end when a hostile bounty spawns on top of or near enough to draw aggro. I worry that a quest related dwarf could get killed before their quest is complete. To address this I suggest restricting which locations a bounty could appear at, moving the on-location spawn point away from where NPCs linger, and/or have NPCs not appear outside when a bounty is present.

• Addition: Prospecting - Assigning a worker to certain locations depleted of resources could result in the discovery of a node of stone, coal, or ore after a random period of time.

• Addition: Seasons - After a set number of days the season changes either in 4 season cycles (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) or 2 season cycles (wet and dry). This would allow for food, cloth, fur, and wood to replenish at certain locations. Of course having seasons could impact travel as well.

• Removal: Bugs - RoR still has a few bugs that while reported have yet to be fixed. There is a quest that never got properly resolved and/or is complete but the map marker remains. And there seems to be lingering UI scaling issues. It would be great if none of those are retained in the next game.

Thanks for your feedback Nascosh!

I already sent your ideas to the devs and I´m sure they´ll find them pretty interesting. If you have any other idea you are welcome.

I do have a few things to say about the pub clicker mini-game. I completely missed it in my first play through because I thought it was a gambling mini-game, something I generally avoid. I am not a fan of clicker games not the least because I've done a lot of data entry work that required very receptive clicking and typing. In retrospect, I am grateful that I could get by in RoR without obtaining its bonuses at the difficulty level I played at. I would prefer it if this mini-game was replaced with something less repetitive. The most appropriate replacement I could think of was some sort of card game about gathering resources to keep with RoR's lore.

That pub clicker mini-game is pretty addictive. I hope to see it in RoR2.

We are working in something better, as mod.io works cross platform with Xbox, Switch, etc and it will allow all the mods to be accessible on all platforms. PC users can create and share content, Xbox and Switch users will also have access to it and vice versa.
