Okay, Let's Play! Achievement

I've beaten the chapter 6 boss a couple times with only beginner armor & weapons (including no rings) and can't get the achievement to register. Is that not the boss of the game? Does it need to be done with on skills? No ally? No pet? Has anyone gotten this achievement yet?

don't forget the bow and throwing stuff , rings don't matter

Last I heard you can only use the shield and sword as weapons.

I just did it using beginner items in every slot and it worked just fine

I think you have to use the beginner shield too, you can't use a beginner two handed weapon. You can still use rings/spells/abilities I believe.

can you do this anytime or it has to be the first time you beat the boss?

You can do it after you've beaten the boss :)

You can use abilities, rings, pets, companions. But only with beginner sword, shield, armor, bow and... apple... Anytime.

That answers my question, just did it with beginner staff and no rings no companions... well again with that and SnS
