after you beat the story you can do endless mode, which keeps giving you stronger enemies. so its basically training + trying to get at high as possible in endless mode. from there you can also access the highscore list with rankings for highest endless mode level, training combos, etc.

There's not much point to add gear other than aesthetics. It's not like gear has randomized stats. It's ok for a game to have a definitive end. That allows you to move onto your many other games.

Let's agree to disagree. Im not buying games to play 6 hours and put them aside.

More gear sets with randomized stats and rarity that drop from boss chests would be awesome, but I just don't see that happening with this game.

Endless mode sounds fun tho.

That would be awesome but i doubt its happening because the inventory is designed for only a fixed number of items, with each different item having its own slot.
The training is really fun though and because you keep getting more and more stats from it (from the missions to be exact), you keep making noticable progress (at least when measured against the new endless mode)

You could try to beat the game or endless mode up to a certain point with a weapon of your choice. That already opens up 6 or 7 alternative playthroughs.

There should be something to spend money on after beating main story as well more items (but harder to get for end game grind). Since you can level all stats and max out all skills, there's no point in making another character. No builds, no new gear, so after beating campaign there are no rewards anymore.

Hopefully they can expand the end-game.

I have to wonder you guys are expecting for end game exactly. Are you hoping this just turns into an active version of an idle game where numbers get too large to even comprehend?

You can easily balance it, by dividing everything by 100, then the current numbers become endgame numbers :P New game plus or difficulty levels would help too I guess, but mainly bonus map, end game grind that you can do forever. Something similar to the current endless battles, but with money to spend and at least one additional extra rare type of gear to find.

What if we just remove the last map from the game. Add it back into the game. Change nothing. We now have this endgame you speak of.

I'm not understanding what it is you're actually after. It just sounds like you want one more map than what is in-game currently. Some kind of "post final battle" gear set. And that's it. What would adding this accomplish over what we currently have?

I'm not sure what kind of infinite grind you're looking for that isn't already in the game either. Are you just wanting them to add some kind recursive generic junk that increments every X? Do you just need more map icons?

What does adding this infinite grind of yours add to the game that the current training and endless mode does not?
