The game feels like it was thrown together by an AI. When watching the trailer it looks fun and engaging with space battles but when you actually play it you're just flying through enemies that should be the equivalent of space debris that shoots at you sometimes. Sure I don't have a lot of time played but if the gameplay isn't enjoyable to begin with I'm not going to stick around to wait and see if it get's better.

The music is alright though. So I won't refund the game. Plus it was 50 cents.

Deep deep potential which you see when activating the cheat mode and giving yourself some money to play with. Currently, Deep Space Anomaly's implementation is criminally implemented and requires a redesign of all game systems. Only redeeming factor is some of the music.

Endless waves of enemies and hours of fun if you don't mind repetition.

EDIT: Changing to not recommended. The game crashes on higher resolution than 768p. More importantly, what I underestimated in my innitial impression: Your ship is very zoomed in and the screen always scrolls in the direction where your mouse cursor is. Can you imagine what happens when you're sourrounded by enemies? Screen scrolls left, right, up and down like crazy. I am sorry for not playing the game properly before reviewing.

At first glance, I was horrified by the apparently poor playability and production values. I couldn't see anything on the screen cluttered with planets and stars! And where was my f u c k i n g SHIELD?!

However it turned out, that these problems could be solved. - You can buy (and from then on activate) your shield in the HEAVY-Section
- Activate the "Low quality setting" in the menu (to drastically clarify your overview of the battlefield)

I only payed $0.59, but I can't figure out the controls. Only mouse buttons work to shoot, no ship controls? All that happens is ship flies straight, and i'm shooting bullets and missiles, i am not sure if this is what is supposed to be happening but not fun at all. No instructions. Game crashed 3 times in 5 minutes I played. Asked for a refund.

If you like to fight in space with nice music, this game is for you. It has very detailed features and is cheap!

It's a cheap game so you shouldn't expect much, which is exactly what you get, not much. You fly around without being able to tell if you're moving most of the time; controls are clunky and sometimes unresponsive. You do at least have to play to get the achievements, but since they don't count it doesn't matter much. Despite that, it's decent enough given the price, but there are 2 good reasons for the down vote.

1. Somehow my perspective has been zoomed in to the point that my ship takes up about 10% of the screen. I have no idea how this happened and don't see any way to fix it.
2. The game keeps locking up. Sometimes I can get past a level or two before it happens, sometimes it happens before I can even start a level.
