This mod doesn't function at all like Elden Ring's seamless co-op mod. The guest will still get removed from the host's game once the boss is killed and fog walls are still in place. The only thing this mod does is allow the host to send distress signals in an area where the boss is already dead.
Age of a game barely has relevance to its support. If a game is popular then you can always expect tons of mods even long after release. Gamers really need to stop with this thinking that just because game is a few year old people should stop playing it.
