Did you take your ahwahkay mojo?
As expected, it is very easy to get the 108, but it immediately starts being problematic with the 109, and right-out atrocious with the 212 and 310,
I must say that you will generally get enough of ahwahkay mojo's for one gift if you explore the whole area. Otherwise, down to the depths!
Same for the queen's metals. You can upgrade one bloodveil and one weapon if you are lucky.
A very smart way to ensure that the customer comes back. great for replayability. I just wish the devs had been as smart regarding the cut scenes and loading times.

You can farm all those materials very easily if you know where. You can get dozens in minutes including the best upgrade material. Loading times are very short in my experience. Try installing on an NVME, or at least an SSD if you can. Granted, if your CPU is too weak it may not help much even on an NVME.

Queen's Tungsten - Depth Map: Zero District boss Queen's Knight Reborn. Once you finish the map you can warp back to the mistle and then repeatedly walk up to kill the boss. Use a 1-shot build using Jack as your partner and you will get 2x Queen's Tungsten & 2x Awake MJ310 per kill which take like 15-25 seconds per kill including running and buffs. Also an excellent source of haze 52025 in NG.

Awake MJ310 - See above tip about Queen's Tungsten farm. In short: Depth Map: Zero District boss Queen's Knight Reborn.

Awake MJ212 - Memories of Player map at the mistle just before the boss. There are two knights nearby that you can kill repeatedly for this resource very fast.

Awake MJ018 - Repeatedly kill final boss in Den of the Dead.

Awake MJ109 - IIRC map Den of Darkness has a high drop rate of this material when doing the Old-world Materials farm at the invasion spot. Run straight from mistle to Invasion spot and activate it. Kill mobs. Warp to mistle. Note that the mobs are physically there and killable as they spawn in even before the game renders them so you can swing at the air or use aoe attacks if you get used to their general spawn locations and kill them far faster speeding it up and if you use the right AoE spells you can actually finish it in around 1s (yup that fast) if lucky depending on how they spawn (Hoarfrost Beam is really good for this). Personally, I don't run to the guy behind the box a bit further away as its not worth the wasted time for the one extra enemy or loot even if he dies from an AoE.

Old-world Materials - See above Awake MJ109. Usually drops around 2-5 per go.

I have finished the game quite a few times and my gear is is among the best of Am4 generation, with 3x2TB ssd's, fast previous not current gen, and rtx 3090 24 GB. Code Vein is a great game, but very slow in loading because of the cut scenes. Otherwise it loads and runs smoothly

It load nearly instantly for me. Sounds like a bug. Try reinstalling / verify integrity of files. That is strange.

I like the game so much I also have it on consoles. I also have reinstalled windows and the games a couple of times since I have it. I am really interested in the kind of gear you have that makes you say that. Like I said, my own gear should be fast enough, and certainly is with other games, including the most recent ones But who knows?

My CPU is a Ryzen 3950X with both boosts on in bios and my NVME I play on typically is a 2TB PNY XLR8 CS3140 7,500MB/s seq. read and 5,650MB/s seq. write speeds. However, even my old much weaker CPU and SSD still loaded it fast years ago. Looking online just to see if other people had issues I see most people with weaker PCs loading in 4-7 seconds on average. Is yours about that long or actually much longer? I couldn't find search results that had an issue with it in Google, either, other than one person's SSD dying and another person using an HDD.

Here is someone seeing 2-3 second load screens from a popular farm

This is much faster than what I get. I have just moved the game from the D to the C drive, which is a little bit faster. I will let you know if there is a difference. I will start a new game.
I hope I am wrong and that the long load times I am experiencing is something I can change.
Thank you.

I thought It looked a little bit faster sometimes, but mostly not. The link you give is not really representative of what my own experience is. I think my computer would be as fast when things are already in memory (32GB). The problem is when scenes have to be loaded from disk. That is when I find it takes too long. BTW, on the PS4, and even the PS5, it is a complete disaster, even though I have changed the original hd of the ps4 to a sata ssd.

Test ongoing.

@Xengre
Here is a video I uploaded on Youyube to show the loading times on a PS5. I have the same experience on pc.
