Can't restore Memory of successor

Hi,

Just defrated Succ of the Breath and for some reason I cant restore their memorys to get the good ending. I just can't, the option is just no showing up if I go to them.

I think you can only restore their memories before you fight them, not after.

You have to restore all their vestiges before you fight them. The guard at the entrance to the fight will let you repair the vestiges and it will show any that you are missing. Once you have restored all the vestiges, you will have the option after the fight.

No, you don't need to restore their vestiges before the fight.
But you DO need to have every last one of them in your possession at least. So if the option doesn't show up after the fight, this only means you're missing one or some of them.

You do have to restore the vestiges, you can't just collect the fragments and then fight the boss.

No you don't. I did every single endings, and while I was going for the bad ending, I still picked up every vestiges for the heck of it without restoring them. And I still had the option to restore the memory of the successor after the fight.

Nah, I really think you might have missed at least one vestige in the area.. You can restart the game without going through the door and go about picking up the last vestige you're missing, but yeah.. That would also imply that you have to fight the successor again.

Nah, I really think you might have missed at least one vestige in the area.. You can restart the game without going through the door and go about picking up the last vestige you're missing, but yeah.. That would also imply that you have to fight the successor again.

I just did what you said, I searched through the whole area again and found every vestige I could. It still doesn't work.

Someone needs to tell the author of the Official Guide that you don't have to restore the vestiges before fighting the successor. Though, I think the official guide is correct, because 3 times I fought a successor, and three times I was unable to restore the memory until I restored the vestiges while trying to get the 'True/Good' ending.
