I had a hard time too. I was able to pass by blocking at the right time. I think this is the only solution. block the fast one with lots of L1.

Depends on what you're losing to. My preferable strategy is staying out of range of the cannoneer and fighting the blade bearer as she is much harder to ignore. The cannoneer attacks can mostly be dodged if you're highly mobile, especially if you're at range too. Just make sure you look at the ground.

Yakumo or Io is probably best.

I'd suggest high mobility with cleansing light and probably the fire resistance buff (and maybe cloak if desperate).

You could also get rid of your companion and solo attempt the boss a few times so you can learn how to survive and dodge the cannoneer's fire attacks while fighting the blade wearer, that's how I learned myself iirc. And then getting your companion back when you've got a better idea of that.

After all, the blade wearer is not that tanky and when she's dead, the cannoneer is very easy to solo as his moves are very predictable in melee once you know.

The recommended easiest method for these guys is part of what Blazing said which is resitances.

You can pick an extremely fire resistance cloak and then transform it with even more fire resistance. Equip Eos code as well as the fire and ice resistance gift buffs. Use all of these buffs and now the ice boss should do no dmg while the fire will do very little dmg (just don't let it melee hit you). Kill the ice girl first, then the fire guy.

Shifting Hollow helps you deal with the ice lady's aggression knocking you back and stuff as well so you can offensively attack her faster.

One of the two Ichor + on melee hit buffs like Feasting Blades or whatever (use the better one if you can) to help maintain necessary ichor.

You will be close to immortal against this double boss then as long as you stay away form the fire guy's heavy hitting melee attack (at least until ice girl is dead).

congrats, only now have noticed ur problem, i use one build with Jack, Silver wolf-berserker weapon, noble silver veil and some gifts, if u need i can send this to ur dm
i have played code few times and have used this build, it's usefull not only for double boss, for all game, if anyone needs it, will be glad to help, u can add me and i send this build

use the 2 elemental buff aka fire and ice buff there it solve most the problem for bad player if you talking about no damage then god speed
