Code Vein and Steam Deck?

Is it playable? Does it crash? Is it laggy?

I'm on the fence about getting a Steam Deck for almost a year now...

Played through majority of the game on Steam Deck and have encountered 0 issues!
Steam Cloud saves also provided for a super smooth process because I was able to save & quit the game on my PC and pick up right where I left off on my SD & vice versa.

The official Valve approval for Steam Deck games can be a bit iffy, In my experience I've found that most games work just fine, but there's a dedicated community resource you can use at protondb.com to check if your favorite games will work well on the deck.

(There's also a steam deck mod you can install that will display the protondb steam deck compatibility right there in your library leaving a lot of guesswork out.)

Code Vein aside would highly recommend a deck, it's an incredible piece of tech

My 2 cents: works absolutely fine on the Deck. Nothing to complain about.

It works pretty well, but you need to turn graphics down to low to get stable 60fps and you sometimes get lagspikes in some areas when it's loading stuff in
Also had a bug in multiplayer where the game sometimes freezes for a few seconds and then kicks you out, but that's a rare occurence
