Change appearance later

Can I change my appearance later in the game? like hair color or some accessories? if so, then how far into the game i will be able to do this?
I have been trying out the character editor for some hours now and it is so hard for me to decide on details, ahah. it would be fun to play the game a bit and then return to editing character again, if that's possible.

After you beat the tutorial area, or the first boss, you'll unlock the hub which has a mirror that allows for modifying your character extensively, but not as much as the character creator at the start (I think height and gender are off limits for example). Hair and accessories should be doable, I believe.

I think you can get around the restriction of height and such by saving appearances from character creator and loading them on the mirror on the hub, however.
