Achievements bugged?

So, I killed the first boss (Oliver Collins) and did not get the achievement? What's about that?

Probably typical Steam issues. In any game a Steam achievement could randomly not register in rare instances. The only solution is to beat him again or NG+.

You have to do NG+ anyways for all achievements so not a huge loss as the game requires two full playthroughs if you are achievement hunting.

If you want to do this in two playthroughs you have to do one playthrough letting all of the characters die that you can save (they're the ones with the Io clones at their boss doors). This also grants a unique code for them dying from those bosses.

In another of the playthrough you have to do two things as it gets two endings in one go. You want to save every single one that can be saved and this requires collecting all their vestiges and stuff in their respective map and viewing the memories (either at the Io clone or at base) before fighting boss and then when you beat boss you can choose to save them (or walk past and not). The goal is to beat near the end and then get the endings back to back by doing some very minor stuff (just look up a guide for the specifics, its easy). Just be warned the best ending is hilariously like a 1 liner additional (or a laugh? something stupid I don't remember tbh) and that is all so its pretty lame. For each boss saved they, again, have a unique code for that completion. Saving a boss vs letting them die does not result in a better/worse code. The code you want depends on your build needs. Of course, you can just do whatever you want in one playthrough and then do the rest in later ones if you want first time no guide, or just thoroughly explore. It's easy enough to accomplish without any guide.
