Also, Lightning Charge fast travel bug.
Hmm, hopefully they are done with the game and won't be fixing those.
I've actually found most everything else kind of lackluster. Either lacking in damage, speed, or spammability, but I haven't tried a caster build yet...
Ymir is my favorite caster but I don't play it a lot because it feels too cheap. Heimdall is just my farm/etc. setup and is actually just one of many Heimdall builds because it has so many useful build types (that is just my dirty quick farm for stuff. Isthar is out of date and I've since updated to even better configuration but am too lazy to open the game (this post is actually a dated post of mine from a few months ago to someone else asking about builds).
As I play at level 1 only (obviously unless the game upscales me joining someone higher level) I tend to stick with the Sunset Sword due to its fast speed and decent attack at level 1. I like the 2h Argent Wolf King's Blade but its not really my style as it is slow (not that I have issues with slow weapons in this game, I just like to be mobile).
The infamous 1-shot build for 1-shotting bosses, especially useful on Knight Reborn boss in the depths to farm the final upgrade material and awake item for improving your character while getting some solid haze, too.
Code - Queenslayer
Active Gifts - Merciless Reaper, Flashing Fang, Blood Sacrifice, Bridge to Glory, Overdrive, Final Journey, Fatal Surge (Jack's communal gift... LAST buff to use), Steadfast Strike.
Passive Gifts - Swift Destruction, Two-handed sword mastery, Str/Vit up, Mind/Will up. Survival Instinct is a possible swap out depending on configuration and can provide a significant dmg boost too (I just didn't need it for farming just that one depth boss repeatedly so I don't have it in my build).
Item - Mobility Enhancer to reach Quick movement for full Swift Destruction bonus if weight too high
Stat up passives may vary for some, I use the Daybreak Thunderfang Fortification +10 veil to boost my light gift as high as possible at level 1 but others may use a different veil... this impacts bridge to glory scaling.
Description - You basically stack the army of buffs to get the highest damage possible within a single skill attack (note some bayonet builds use similar setup and count as a single shot with certain skills too). Then you use the highest dmg multiplier skill for the weapon class you are using. Obliterator Axe is popular alternative to Argent Wolf King's Blade and Steadfast Strike combo if you don't have the DLC for Steadfast skill. Steadfast has the highest dmg multiplier at 550% and the Argent Wolf King's Blade has absurd attack power. That said other weapons can get obscene damage too so you actually don't have to worry about not using my exact skill/weapon choice as long as you pick the best skill for dmg to your weapon class and have upgraded weapon as high as possible and stacked the right buffs above. Even at level 1 I can use this to do over 80k damage in one attack with a +10 weapon.

Code - Queenslayer
Gifts - Many of the basic ones from the 1-shot build but removing things like Merciless, Flashing Fang, Fatal Surge, Steadfast and passives may or may not get adjusted a bit depending on what stats I need but Swift Destruction + Mastery typically remain. I may utilize additional offensive buffs including an elemental depending on boss' weakness, Shifting Hollows for evasion and to save stamina for attacking, or an offensive skill with a teleportation effect similar to shifting hollows but an attack built in (one in particular but forget name atm). This is what I actually prefer as I don't like 1-shot builds and only use it for the one depth boss to farm upgrade materials and such in an efficient manner (also it isn't even viable for level 1 against DLC bosses immense HP to make achievements easier since I don't have anywhere near enough attack at level 1 lol so had to do it the old school way and git gud). MAJOR TIP: If you simply are struggling to kill the boss before duration ends instead use it after hurting the boss some. Say you get the boss to 60% HP and then use it to finish the remaining 60%/harder part of the fight. In addition, this fully heals you when Final Journey is cast so it is a free heal.

Code - Queen's Breath
Gifts - Iron Will, Juggernaut, Gift Extension, then whatever buffs/ichor drain boost/etc. you want. REQUIRES White Mia as party member or a human player with her special Guardian Aid, a type of revival offering exclusive to Aestrea code which White Mia uses and grants +% (I forget how much) to defenses for a duration upon being revived by it.
Description: This is it. This is the single most broken build in the game that exists. It is also superbly boring, imo, and as great as it might sound I don't think most would care to use it. This grants actual immortality. Not just fire resistance, or say... another damage type resistance. It negates the damage from all attacks in the game (there might be 1-2 very uniquely programmed attacks that do super tiny damage but basically it works on everything). You suicide to an enemy and then let White Mia/human with Guardian Aid revive you and then buff up. If she used Gift Extension and you did as well after hers and before dying it will basically double the duration of all buffs including Guardian Aid making it last much longer. You can still be staggered and stuff but you will take no damage. This might, theoretically, not work at like NG+40 or something as I'm not 100% certain if this scales the same way as the other resistance nullification builds function where it is a % dmg scaled to below 1 dmg and thus negated but I suspect based on the skills involved it actually is actual 100% and total nullification and not 99% so it might outscale any absurdly high NG+ damage.

Code - Ymir (Harmonia is a good alternative if you lack this one)
Active Gifts - Cleansing Light, Blood Sacrifice, Merciless Reaper (works on some spells, gets removed by some too), Ichorous Ice, Hoarfrost Stream, Volatile Storm, Gift Prowess
Passive Gifts - Swift Destruction, any stat up ones I need for my build, and I often use Revenant's Greed for additional drops. Basically, not many mandatory options here and flexible.
Description: More of a jack of all trade general high end caster build. You could basically specialize it for bosses or other situations if you want. Ichorous Ice is the best offensive spell in the game with a low cost, high accuracy (great homing), it is fairly fast, and has superb dmg per ichor spent. Some might underestimate it at first. Try using it on a boss and comparing to other skills. You might notice it is extremely ichor friendly and spammy for the amount of dmg it puts out putting other spells to shame. Hoarfrost Beam is a top tier AoE + single target uber nuke, and when I say AoE I mean a laser beam that goes full 360 with significant range ravaging everything within a good distance. The damage is pretty intense for a single nuke but also has long CD. Volatile Storm is a good AoE spell with moderate ichor cost and solid damage that is slash rather than elemental making it extremely nice in a typical caster build filled with elemental spells. Cleansing Light and Blood Sacrifice allow you to be very spammy with spells and, realistically, unless you are horrible at the game or just excessively spamming you should finish any boss fight or reach a healing point if your flasks are upgraded before you run out of flasks with proper management. Subzero Shroud is the best veil for this due to its absurd A+ willpower scaling making it the best dark caster veil in the game. Gift Prowess lets you spam faster if you want.

Code - Ishtar
Active Gifts - Mandatory: Cleansing Light, Feral Tenacity, Blood Sucking Blades. Optional: Bridge to Glory, Blood Sacrifice, Gift Extension, Shifting Hollow, etc. fairly flexible.
Passive Gifts - Mandatory: Deliverance. Optional: Swift Destruction, Weapon Mastery (One-handed, etc.), stat up like Mind/Vit up as necessary.
Description: This is THE ultimate support class. Ever gotten hit in a coop and you should have died but you hear the death noise and keep going? Ever been poisoned like by the butterfly in coop and heard yourself repeatedly die but you actually are still running around? The passive Deliverance is why. Description: "When an ally takes fatal damage, their HP is reduced to 1 and you take the remaining damage." Couple this with Cleansing Light to recover that damage mostly and you've got a beast support build that lets you instantly revive with no cool down your partner every time they die. Because of how it works it also is difficult for you to die too, as long as you dodge properly and don't get wacked while at 1 HP/ recovering health even if they die many times in quick succession. Feral Tenacity, itself, also guarantees that you, yourself, retain 1 HP if you take fatal damage once and it has no duration (deactivated upon use, so requires recasting after it saves you but is only 10 ichor considering how rarely it should be activates on your end). I will note this is not a build for two bad players because if the other player is bad and dying repeatedly and you are also bad then it just means you will die extra fast lol... and then the other person relying on it will also die just as fast after you fall.

Code - Heimdall
Active Gifts - Cleansing Light, Sacrificial Edge, Bridge to Glory, Overdrive, Gift Extension, an elemental weapon buff for the right enemy.
Passive Gifts - Revenant's Greed (boost drops), Charisma (if wanting to boost AI performance when farming), Revenant's Hunger (boost haze), Pioneer's Guidance, or any stat boost for specific skills as necessary or even Swift Destruction and Weapon Mastery typical combo. Depends on what you need.
Description: Basically a massive DPS boost build that doesn't have the finite timer of Final Journey skill in the Queenslayer build. Very powerful vs bosses but even more powerful vs farming mobs because of its extensive duration (even more so if you use an invisibility item/skill, which this code comes with btw). Sacrificial Edge is a massive attack boost but drains HP over time. If you use Cleansing Light since it cannot restore a portion of your HP from last dmg taken, technically, as it is a constant drain it instead slows the drain down considerably making it less of a negative impact. Gift Extension just helps make this setup lazier. Honestly, you can swap some of these items for more buffs, more defensive options, shifting hollows, etc. as needed. Usually, I use this as my typical roaming about and farming option as it lets even my level 1 character have very potent damage. It doesn't quite have the dmg reduction or other minor benefits of Final Journey but, hey, at least you wont instantly explode after the time runs out when farming with it. It is an alternative for bosses, too, if you can't beat them within the time of Final Journey.

Code - Eos
Active Gifts: Ice Armor, Flame Protection, Elemental Wall, Ablative Blood, Bloodsucking Blades, Gift Extension, Shifting Hollows
Passive Gifts: Weapon Drain Rating Up, Swift Destruction, Weapon Mastery, any needed stat up or whatever passives.
Description: My Eos tank build, especially for the flame region and the dual boss with fire and ice as I can largely render the damage for me and my partner to virtually nothing or negate it outright. Has great ichor recovery from normal attacks, too, and gift extension so it is easier to manage without being annoyed. A fairly laid back casual tank build that could be more tailored to specific configurations if you really wanted to block certain types of hits, boost damage, etc.
I would offer a lot more but I've stripped the rest of my codes for multiplayer due to the coop bug and haven't bothered messing around to rebuild extras and see what I can still keep and join games. I liked Yakumos and some others as well, but these are what I have on hand at the moment.
