- If you're using up-to-date graphics driver, try to uninstall it and install the previous version.
- Navigate to ... Steam > Steamapps > Common > Code Vein > Engine > Extras > Redist > en-us and run UE4 Prereq Setup.exe ... If the prerequisites are already installed, then uninstall and reinstall them.
- Windows Firewall or your anti-virus might be blocking CV's executable. Check that, just to make sure.
- Type the following commands into your launch settings through Steam:
-high -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -NOTEXTURESTREAMING
- Try to exit programs such as MSI Afterburner, RTSS, GeForce Experience, Discord, Team Speak, etc.
- You can also try to change your sound card's output quality:
Right-click the Speakers icon on the bottom right
Select the "Sounds"
Go to the "Playback" tab
Select your default speaker
"Properties"
"Advanced" tab
Change the "Default Format"
If nothing listed here helped, simply reinstall the game. Alternatively, you can do it from the very beginning and then try things mentioned above if it doesn't help.

did you fix it by chance?
So how I solved it was that I just installed a second copy of W10, a non-insider build, and got it to work. It's cludgy and dumb, but it works. Well...it works, but having that second Windows 10 installation somehow ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my storage space during some sort of update or something, soooooo I'm currently recovering about 8TB of files to be stored...somewhere. I'd like to just build a server that way I don't have to worry about this crap again.
