400 medals farm boosting

So obviously this game was way too easy as it was so they just had to add the most excruciatingly grindy achievement imaginable.

Yet apparently it can be "quickly" farmed with someone in the depths, as each mini-boss gives 1 medal, so if you want to team up to reap those medals for a couple hours without having to wait 15 minutes to beat a single boss, hit me up as I really want to 100% the game.

Tower of trials is really good for farming too. You’re guaranteed around 10ish honors per run even without multiplayer.

Is it really? Is it faster than farming some easy depths with someone? I haven't played any of the DLC yet.

Yeah it’s faster than the depths. Both 2 bosses will have more health though. It will take you like maybe 10 minutesish to finish it depending on your build and how fast you kill the mobs too.

Tower of Trials, any of them are a good place to farm for Marks of Honor, just pick the one you have the least trouble with. Note, that not only the Big Bosses can drop can drop them, some enemies can do too.

I don't really like video guides but thanks for the help. Do you need to be very high level for those? I'm only around level 140 and I haven't put much thought into a build yet, just cheesing my way through the game with a Zweihander and barely using gifts.

Video was best suited for this, since it came with so many information's, text would've made it unbearable to sit through.
Since it's min/max to the limit's, it came with strict pattern of Buffing up and stuff. Also how to "play" certain Builds was really important, since it really makes or breaks such run.
Most players are too afraid to take too many action's, this shows them how far one can push this.

You have already a Zweihander, you should attempt the Tower of Trials 1, since it has the easiest and most broken Build of all, with really forgiving aspects. No need to clear it fully, just go after the first Boss and restart it.

You could let the AI do all of the work and be level 1 yourself but that would take forever, kill them before they can do anything is pretty much the best way to go for it. Mistakes are bound to happen, if you only react to them.
You are kind of forced to play and have a certain level of Gear/Resources in order to clear or even go far in those Towers, they are really punishing and end can get bad really fast.

If this isn't working for you at all, Multiplayer is the way to go. Might take a while but its way easier. Just ask for people who want to farm for it, most combine it with Material Farming at a certain Boss to max the time investment.

So I farmed around 260 medals with somebody at the Tower of Trials II but that person ditched and unfortunately by myself I tend to die quite a lot, the number of medals awarded is also lower without another person if anyone wants to help me farm another 140 medals, which should only about be a dozen more runs please hit me up.

Tower of Trials 1 can be run in like 7 minutes (my personal best time - probably even lower if you're actually GOOD at the game) if you keep the right elemental buffs going, and it's relatively easy once you figure out the strategy for the Butterfly of Delirium... around 3 hours grinding it while listening to a podcast or something should give you the medals you're missing. (I recommend picking Io as your partner for the "glass cannon" damage to maximize the speed you can kill everything)

What elemental buffs would you recommend? I guess I'll have to do this by myself since the game seems as dead as my sexual life. Butterfly of Delirium is the bane of my existence, it was pretty much the only boss that gave me any actual trouble in the entire main story.

The Butterfly is really Weak to Fire, take advantage of that.
Try to Dodge better or run around and let the Ai (Yakumo is the best for a casual Tower run) do the job.

Well I tried using the Flame Weapon buff but afaik it only adds 50 fire damage for a very short while and she is only weak by 10% to fire. I'm just constantly healing and getting poisoned, this isn't very fun, especially if I have to do this another 20 times by myself so I'm gonna let this one go.

The fire damage is actually a percentage increase in damage, not a flat increase. Especially if you stack fire damage buffs you will definitely notice a change in damage.

Make sure you either have venom removers (I forgot what they're called) or the ability that removes venom, should make it a lot easier.

Well if you help me get the last 120 medals I need I'll gladly give you the save file at 399 medals but nobody offered any help and I can barely beat any of the trials by myself so I kind of gave up on it honestly, too much trouble for the prize.
