Ng+ help and tips
Hi, I finished the game with a 2 handed sword set and company from the NPC, but now I've started an NG+ in higher difficulty mode, and I set out to finish it alone but I got stuck on the first boss (the butterfly), do you think I'm trying something too difficult? NG+ and solo, or is it possible to do but I need some things to consider like what set to use or the type of game to play.
I would appreciate your advice, thank you!

As someone who has 2.6k Hours in CV, let's start with those few tips.

- No matter which enemy is infront of you, not getting hit is the #1 priority. At high Ng+'s you get oneshot by most things. It's well possible to do high Ng+'s with only a Pipe, once you know what enemies can do, everything becomes easier.

- Learning the attacks of the Bosses/ Enemies and/ or getting a better timing on when to dodge, makes any fight into easy mode. Just go in and do proper evades of incomming attacks, as long as you can, you get a feeling after a while on what to do.

- For Build's, check this out: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1988176169
They might be out of reach in terms of Weaponary/ Materials but it's always good to compare your own Build, with the best ones out there. Adjust your own Build with the one you like and see which work better. Choice of Skills is important, since lot's of them are bad compared to others.

- Patience, take your time and watch the movements of the Boss. The fight is only over once you've beaten the Boss, stay focused.

- With no AI by your side, the fight drastically changes. How the Boss reacts, which attacks he performs (depending on where you/ AI is standing and much more...). As well as not having a revive at hand.

- Lots of people did go with a slow 2h Weapon, which is fine but while playing Solo can be really punishing if you make misplays. Getting to ATLEAST Normal Dodge Speed is a huge difference, can mean life or death if things go bad.

If you have questions, feel free to ask. There's lot's of people who are willing to help :)

Well , this games is diferent form other souls games.
it fully depend in DUO with AI or your friend.
The Boss became more agresive if you are alone and new game plus depend in start is like 1 hit kill you.
So if you play solo, go for fast mobility with defense buff if you get hit is probably that you ll not survival. learn how to dodge and play safe. All enemies can kill you in 1s.
if you can beat DUO (cannon and blade barear ) boss alone in deapths , you can beat the game in solo.

In ng+, most mobs legit one shots you if not careful even bosses.
And yes it’s possible to solo ng+ once you get really familiar with mobs and boss patterns.

I used to have Atlas build along 2Handed swords(Argent king blade.) With my buffs usually foul blood barrier and iron will with stagger to help me survive longer even from normal mobs.

Lately, I’ve been using faster mobility because it feels a bit easier than 2H weapon or atlas build.
I use Ivory grace veil for quick mobility with argent wolf blade + One handed Sword mastery + Bridge to glory(gift) swift destruction + Mind Up for my passives.
Gives me a lot of damage and dps.

If you want to have a AI companion too, Io is really good as support and survives more than others. Sometimes yakumo for bosses.

Also, it’s recommended to have your main weapons or blood veils max upgrade.
I can also try to help in coop if you need help

P.S. I also like Teemo and play him a lot haha

Some defensive dones:
iron will - 25% dmg taken reduction (mastery can all code use)
blood barrier malignus - 75% dmg taken reduction only 1 hit (mastery can all code use)
albine blood - 50% Dmg taken reduction per hit at cost of 3 icor. (only Eos code)
clashing light - recover HP of 75% dmg taken. (mastery can all code use)

Go for stun can give you a moment to breath or slow if you are bad at dodge. The best is poison but if you play solo this can help.

A fast mobility can give you more frame to dodge. Easy to go for back and atk with drain.

IO weapon has better drain and iron will active in heavy atk with albine blood active , you ll take 75% less dmg. EOS code is really good for NG in solo. Give a insane amopunt of atk with bridge to glory if you have good light don (0.5 atk per 1 light don) and have defensive buff with clean debuff that can help you.
