God the sound direction sucks

like man, this is some of the most ill-fitting music choice i've ever had to sit through

any song with lyrics is garbage
most cutscenes have any gravitas taken from them

i was laughing through most of the major moments because of poor music decisions

shame cause i enjoyed the game itself, its a bit barebones but its a decent soulslike romp

Speak for yourself. In my opinion Go Shiina is an excellent composer and that is also reflected in this game. You don't like it and that's that. It does not mean that the sound direction is objectively bad.

and go shiina did fine work with god eater even if the music was unnecessarily loud during the cutscenes for no discernable reason
