How long is this game?

As the title says. Just wondering how long Code Vein was for you guys, just going off of one playthrough.

one playthrough assuming you're new to the game and dont know the game, if you collect everything and explore everything you can go up to around 60/70 hours.

For my first playthrough it took me several weeks (because of life getting in the way). Code Vein is my first Souls-like game so I wanted experience it thoroughly at my own pace and get the True ending. However, on my speed-runs if I'm not lagging on a build, it takes about three days to a week.

It depends on what kind of player you are but as for your question it took me about 40 hours just taking my time exploring and following the story. I still have NG+ and beyond since I adore the game so much and I'm very excited to obtaining the other endings/achievements.

I've played all the "Souls Type" games, so I'm pretty used to how combat works in these games. I would say my first playthrough, probably ran me around 20-30 hours. This was mainly due to a certain area of the game feeling like a giant maze, that took the majority of the time to actually complete.

Second playthrough, probably around 10-15 hours, and that was upgrading all my "Blood Codes". Again, first playthrough the giant Maze took a huge portion of time, where as the second time, I ran through it in probably an hour max.

like 2 hours in or so and i havent even managed to get past character creation...i keep finding cool stuff i wanna add to the outfit then the entire idea changes....so many options...

for me it was about 60 hours. (I am a completionist so I spent a lot of that exploring every area to 100%!)

took me 27 hours on my first playthrough that being said i was also helping another friend for whole playthrough since first checkpoint until final boss

depends on player i would say i'm experience enough in souls like game

Took me around 25 hours, doing all the sidequests and running around trying to 100% all maps.

Its not about the "how long" its about the journey.
You can spend 10+ hours on the Char creation alone and still have a blast,
You can try out differtent builds, skills approaches to the game and get joy aswell.


The Game has a good base that leaves you with alot of options to explore, Story, Combat, Customisation, Detailes in the World.
Usally takes 30+ Hours if you dont rush (Looking for Maps online and so on), even more if you try to get really into it with some aspect.

Even afer youve beaten the game there are the Depths for more Challenges, 100%ing and Ng+ on higher difficulties.

Best apreach is to just try it out, its definetly worth it.

Took me 40 hours for my first playthrough which included the extra challenge depth trials, all maps at 100%, no skipped cut scenes, sidequests, or important pick ups and unlocking all abilities for all the blood codes (basically classes that you can freely switch between) and maxing out their proficiency (unlocked by just killing stuff with that blood code/ability equipped) for that run. I really don't feel like I rushed through the game either.

All in all, it depends on how well/fast you play. But expect at least 30 hours.

That was without messing much with the character creator because I know exactly what I want.

I still think it lacks options. I like more clothing options.

And yes, for how much this game flaunted its character "customisation" it's severely lacking. Clothing wise it's garbage. If you enjoy tilting basic accessories for hours on end, then this game is definitely for you.
