Is Zweihander the best weapon?
I got one from the Ruined City Center and haven't found a better weapon since then. I've just finished the Ridge of Frozen Souls, but it still seems the most optimal. Do I keep missing good weapons or something?

Yes, it is the best weapon once you transform it with the fortification upgrade, you will take no physical damage when blocking.
It is a good training wheel weapon that can carry you but you will learn some bad habits from it. I used it on my first play through and it cause me to play turtle and try to block everything when I could have easily dodged or counter with the bloodveil.

Ohhhh, I see. I never use blocking, literally only rolls, but I'll check that fortification upgrade out, thanks.

For tanker build, yes. For damage dealer, I prefer Argent Wolf King GS.
