he lived up to his name (Berserker) to be honest he's super aggressive in 2nd phase

you either abuse backstab since he's can be backstab for some reason

or get used to his moveset and dodge at proper time (shifting hollow helps a lot)

take your time don't rush the fight

(at least this is how i do it)

Equip the armor that does the most "parry damage" (forgot the term) and just parry him a few times, he only has like 2 attacks and they are pretty obvious

two easy ways, you can either overwhelm him with heavy attack and stagger him with stagger buff or be on quick move and back stab him as right after he wake from previous back stab. You can back stab lock this boss.

just keep trying the backstabs, also tyou can air him, parry him. and get the best veil with highest crush defense.

My advice is to stay calm. The arena is tiny and you have almost no room to avoid his swings, so healing is difficult. Do not panic dodge his attacks, they are massively telegraphed and do not have many variations to them so learning the timing of his attacks is key. When he charges towards you with his weapon like a ram his actual attack is delayed and will catch early dodges, best thing as I saw fit is to wait until he almost hits you and dodge past him. As the other people have said, he can be parried and backstabbed so it is possible to do, but as you surely know, he hits like a truck if you miss one parry. Phase 2 makes him very aggressive, but his moveset does not change much. If you have the zweihander you can block his attacks too, but manage your stamina carefully.

I've just passed him right now, this boss is a piece of ♥♥♥♥, i try to backstab him as much as possible while dodging his attacks, and i use the fact he's not very agressive on 1st phase to use my blood spells safely, after that, on second phase, i'm only healing and my spells when he's recovering from a backstab, or when he's far away busy with my teamate, ( teamate who always die tho )

Just beat him and for me he felt super easy. I struggled with the quick bosses like butterfly and water pole dancer. This guy and the dude from the trenches have really obvious tells and the first attack in their chain is slow. So just whack them once or twice, then roll through their easy attack and if you notice the second swing just wait a bit and roll once more. The third combo hit in the last phase never hit me due to repositioning.

You'll also get random backstabs throughout the fight by just dodgning stuff all the time, use those to heal up or unleash your dps combos.

Really the only thing that kills you here is your own greed, having no stamina when he starts his attacks again.

I use 1-h swords and weapon buffs and never parry or block. Maybe that helps...
Assume he attacks twice and preemptively roll for both. You get punished way too hard for not doing so unless you got some cat-like reflexes. Or you can summon help and have them take a dump on it instantly. idk about all online players, but I hear they're good. I know I'm decent at the fight. If it isn't aggro'd to me, I can chain backstab him indefinitely. It kind of makes the fight underwhelming and sometimes I feel bad

If all else fails, you can walk in there with a zweihander and block all day while your teammate takes it down. It really is a keep smashing your face against it until you recognize the moveset kinda thing though. When it berserks and starts attacking even faster, I ended up just dodging the first swing and blocking the second because I couldn't get a second dodge off fast enough. Otherwise you just have to fit a hit in there yourself once in a while, aiming for the precious buttstabs.
He plays a bit like Gywn from Dark Souls, so just parry, backstep or look at his move set which tells you where the next attack goes to.
If you cant tell where a attack goes to, go near to him hit him a few times then its mostly a spin and a Ranged attack to you if your to far away, on mid range it will more likely to be a attack from the air.
Staying Mid range can prevent you from getting charged and spinned to death :goodyaku:

If your doing not good you might also just summon someone..

You may have some luck just grabbing a high block weapon and letting your allies chip him down while you just block and dodge as much as possible.
