Most will go talking ♥♥♥♥ without ever touching the game. Just like The IGN guy who made the review using the demo. Ignore them and enjoy your game, the best thing you can do. Also, CV is not the only game to suffer from this, lots of games have haters.

you would be surprised if you checked Japanese review in Steam. many negative reviews are there more than English one in rate.
from reading their reviews, it seems the most of them are Dark Souls players...probably From software fans?...idk
anyway this kind of thing is typical in Japanese community of video games, so please don't care ;)

I feel like a lot of the hate comes from people comparing it to Dark Souls a little too much. Just enjoy the game to its fullest by just treating it like you would any other ARPG, not Dark Souls.

MOST of the people ive seen who live streamed this among other things that ended up going THIS GAME IS TRASH ITS ♥♥♥♥! ITS UNFAIR HARD!
are the same idiots who decided on there first / blind playthough to not level up what so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ever and to not use companions and to not aparently use healing items or such
then proceeded to get there ASS handed to them RAGE and then claim the game is CLEARLY A POS BAD GAME! and rage quit the game after leaving a negitive review
which made me face palm.

- Anime tiddies. Granted, there are many horrible games that use an anime as a hook to sell.
- Being a Souls clone. Soulsborne fans loathe any other game that dares to imitate "Master Miyazaki's masterpieces".

This is not a good idea, because people who don’t even have a game can write in discussions, so it’s better to just decide for yourself or ask your friends who played this game

I mean, people that don't even own the game are not part of the community. But yeah. Souls veteran are ok with this game. "Souls normie" are usually hating everything that is "souls-like" and is not made by Miyazaki, for some reason. They hatin' even Nioh.

The main reason is because of the dark souls influence, it ruins there gameplay experience with the game.

The game was okay but the issue I had with the multiplayer is a total letdown.
