Soooooo... Lvl300 gifts leveling by killing enemies?
There is some weird system that not allow you upgrade your skills by enemy slaughtering if you get too high soul level for the area. Anyway, i got my lvl300 some time before ng+1 ending and i thought in NG+2 i'll should be able to level everything I want, but i'm already near the cathedral and killing still give no skill exp. I staring to believe that ng+ stuff not increasing area lvl cap and I'll have to farm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of activators to level everything...
Just wondering if maybe someone have info about actual area level caps or info about where i'll start gain skill exp normally?

use the hephaestus passive and that should help but yeah rip it takes a while.

Beyond that point it becomes faster to grind MJ Awaken items and just outright buy the skills.

The problem is, even with that passive, skills don't exp at all. I now running queen ribcage (cuz IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR, one of the best will scalings and fast dashes when i wear iceblood sword + suicide spur veil) and other skills i set to active panel (vodnik mass, dusk blade, ichorous ice, elder contract) got absolutely zero progress during 4 fully cleared areas at ng+2.
Don't wanna farm awaken items at ng+2 when mobs are fat and have too much dmg but it seems like only option i have now, and this is very very sad...

Your only hope is distress signals if you want to level by kills.

I'm not even level 200 on +1 difficulty and can't level my skills (although I'm not even halfway through that run yet either).

I'll probably just farm MJ items later with distress beacons and also get my medals that way. Although I already have all the skills I'll ever need mastered.

-use depths to farm the items you need to upgrade the gifts to learned: quicker than it is to grind them out.

-help others in multiplayer, your level will be adjusted to theirs
Yes, multiplayer is the way to go. You automatically get scaled down to their level so it's ensured leveling

And that's why you master all available skills before level 100 before even finishing the game once. It's so easy to escape in this game that there's no real fear of having to level up to not lose haze when you die. I've been running around with 9m+ haze since the Skull King.

And if you do manage to get stuck away from your haze cloud, you can still salvage half of it in the onsen.
