I'm not a Scamco Bandai fanboy, actually I slightly dislike them for many reasons but Keyboard and Mouse isn't a problem in their products.
If this layout had the buttons next to them it at least would be nicer. It's very console-focused for the UI which kinda sucks
And I want to say that, even as a leftie using the arrow keys to move, I was able to find keybinds I am very happy with.
But yes, walking is not possible on keyboard, so you will have to "sneak" by blocking and moving that way.

Not an insurmountable issue, but still worth knowing that this might happen to you and how to easily avoid the issue entirely in case it does.
The default scheme is bizarre, but that's not an issue when the game allows you to rebind.
