Review
Hey people this is my first written gaming review that others can see. I just finished code vein today and wanted to write a liitle review.

Gameplay: while the gameplay is nothing revolutionary, there are a wide variety of ways to play we can differ these ways by the use of blood code cores. These offer different skills, weight carrying capabilities and amoint of ichor(mana) one can use. There are various weapon types that I experimented with, I found that going in with the atlus core and a heavy sword worked the best. The attacking, dodging and blocking abilities are all there and remain largely the same as most in the genre. The skills are also various and fun to use.

Story: The story of this game without giving away spoilers is easier to follow than many jrpgs and has more meat than a souls like game but does that make it good? Well yes and no, its a mixed bag while I care about some characters arcs like mia and Nicola, others such as jack and left me slightly bored and unintrested. The overarching story at times felt like the writers did not know what they wanted to do next. These are minor gripes but otherwise its a standard jrpg story without all the convoluted bits and actually tells a story without having to do too much work like a souls game.

Design and setting: anime vampires were a nice idea even though I feel we could have explored it more. I most of the time forgot we were vamps. This game is tough to grade heresince jrpgs have a fairly similar design across the board. Lip syncing was terrible when it hapoened, most of the time they did not bother, it hurt immersion a little bit but this is a lower budget game so it is fair. The world is very magical and each area lets this be known from a burning city with molten stick like monsters to dreary black oozing swamps with spike balls. There are many types of creatures and bosses, the creatures recycled but until the depths(optional) excitingly so the bosses are not. This makes me very happy after greedfall recycled most of its bosses. The music is good, not great but good usually when I finish a jrpg I like to listen to the intro song and cry a bit since my journey is over. I did this many times recently tales of xillia 2.

X factor: This game has one main x factor the fantastic character creator. I mean you gotta try this thing out. I would love to put up some of the bosses but none of them stand out and many are easier that I would have liked even solo. Though the ice and fire team in the depths were a pain in the you know where but in the main game no one stood out for there design or difficulty. I have seen similar before.

Verdict: 7.4 (good) out of 10

the games are identical. so its a review.

that being said it is quite strange to see a review posted on the forums instead of as someone said "in the review section". as most people frequenting the forums (not all just most) will most likely already own the game and a review is not very useful past that point.

Boobs physics is kinda broken over 30 fps... So it is not identical 😉 PC has more graphics options.

So technical side is different game itself is same.

its good to know the PC version can break more easily.

but from a gameplay standpoint they are the same.

It is blame of Devs that they cannot make good PC port, not PC itselve...
And it is problem of many Devs. See even now RDR2 PC port... Earlier Batman Arkham Knight... Are quite spectalcular... And it just show that PC gamers are treated as side gamers, not important. It changes a bit as now they see that PC gamers money don't stink 😝 And worth to milk...

well. actually. because PC's can have different parts. vastly different specs ranging from a toaster to an actual gaming PC, there can be hardware specific glitches and bugs. so technically sometimes its the PC's fault.

(I too am adept at mental gymnastics)

Yes and thats why PC has in most cases possibility to have different settings in game to match performance with current RIG... 😉 And that's why there is Windows and DX to be common System for those all PCs... And if you have ok / decent RIG and keep Windows clean, there should be no issues with playing games 😉

And actually nowdays even those great "stable" Consoles have issues/bugs and day one patches...

Seems a pretty fair review.

Thanks mate. I really want to get better at writing reviews but never really know how people are going to react.
