Can be summoned but can't summon
I've been playing with my brother all day, he can summon me but I am completely unable to summon him. It is 100% consistent, there doesn't seem to be any uncertainty to it. When he summons me I am instantly able to connect, but he is never able to connect to me when I put down my sign.

Anyone else have this issue? What could be causing it?

level does not matter. most likely hosting is just broken for the OP just like with some other people have reported for them selves on the forums.

restarting the game -might- work as with reinstalling, but no guarantees

restarting the game definitely doesn't fix it, i will look for a way to backup my saves and then try reinstalling

We have to wait for a patch, you could test out a friends save that you know you can join on and see if using their save enables them to join on you. It would confirm that your save is corrupted in some manner. I have the same issue.

This doesn't matter, unless I'm missing something. I joined my friend at the end of the game, the literal last boss.

Same with lvls, those wouldn't matter either when it comes to being able to join someone.

final stage player quite rare because some of it was already restart the game, unless he/she want stay at last boss stage like me.

I don't believe that is the issue here. From all the comments I've seen and from my own experience there's something that happened to our characters that makes it impossible for someone to join on us, but we can easily join on others. It also wouldn't take much effort to understand you'd need to have access to the same areas.

There is a bug that people who created character before patch 1.03 not be able to host any multiplayer session but can still join other multiplayer, the dev already know this bug but does not definite date on when this bug will be fix.

Wow, thanks for all the responses.

To be clear, we are on the same stage of the game, in the same zone, we've killed all the same bosses. What's very strange is that last night I removed my password and a random person was able to join my game, but not my brother, yet I was able to instantly join his games at any time.

I'm not sure when the patch came out, but I only started playing this a week ago, so I don't think that's the issue. We'll try again tonight and see if there's any change.

Sorry I skipped most of the posts but I hear if you take all gifts out from your blood codes that you do not use you will be able to summon players.

That's what people claim works. Give it a shot.
