Turn off Armor Visuals?

My character does not know how to wear a jacket properly. This? This is dumb. People do not where jackets like this. People cannot wear jackets like this, as they will fall off your shoulders. I didn't spend an hour, going through the dozens and dozens of character customization options, just to have my character wear a jacket to cover it all up. Wtf devs, why?
Is there a way to turn 'armor' visuals off?

Yea, they might need to have that option. It generically take ideas from OnePiece. Seem like most ppl here for the game because of soul like titles. It’s anime, not realistic reasons to justify character models since there won’t be a charge for meaning intact for everything. Though, there are reasons for this because character held a tied on his neck. If you ever wear a Jacket under your belly it’s the same. Not too complicated stuff.

Sadly you must decide: good stats -> look like a clown or badass gear but lame stats. Ironic to see this level of stupid design since the game forces you to make your own character

Like, why pay artists and programmers money to through allll the trouble to make such obscene levels of character customization just to cover it up with a stupid jacket? That's just a slap to the face of the people who put hard work into this. It doesn't make any sense.

If u mean the cover over by the jacket, than simply equip other ones. You asked “People will not wear jackets like this, as they will fall off your shoulders (which only one jacket with nothing intact is only Yakumo got it). The others are come with the uniform (if you never play god eater). They don’t tell you why or not about this in specific reason. If you want to be more stylish, process through the endgame and to go the weapon enhancer to buy more veils. There are a lot more when you do new game plus with higher difficulty. That’s it.

Wait for a "disable blood veil" mod
They are making mods to disable practically everything about the game.
Even straight up being butt-nekkid.

Other than that, no, you are S.O.L. I'm afraid.

Might i suggest equipping a robe, cape or hoodie instead, if the jacket offends your fashion sense. Anime physics and fashion can be such an irksome thing. Good luck.

Yeah, I just wanna see the cool outfit I'm wearing underneath, not the dumb jacket. It's less "offends my fashion sense" and more "I spent a lot of time making my character look cool, don't make me wear a jacket over it."
