This of course is my opinion.
and 3 endings based on whether you restore sucessor memories or not
true uwu lol.
or skits
well maybe that's too much to ask for
Hahaha that would be welcome as well, but then it would be Tales of Vein... :")
Show me some examples
All of the alphabet actually. I was working through the missing endings at release for this and stopped. There are 26 endings to that one, though only a select few are canon
26 endings which all fit into a sub one hour video. Delz visual novel has a lot of endings, too, but I would never compare these games to let's say Mass Effect and the likes. I only know one jrpg which has regular dialogue choices.
if you count visual novels as games then I'm afraid Japanese "games" win against western games by huge margin
the only western games that give player a lot of choice are cprgs such as Baldurs Gate, everything else is delusion of choice at best, especially mass effect 3
Japanese developers tend to give their customers what they want, instead of only really caring about investors. Majority of western companies are trash these days.
Nier Automata was the only game I can think of made in Japan that gives you a choice in who you save at the end of the game (and you can just reload a save to just before and see both quite easily without replaying everything again), been a long time since I played.
