[Spoilers] So, Mia's relationship with the MC
Playing as a male MC throughout the whole game (True Ending playthrough, btw), I can't help but to notice within the cutscenes that Mia seems more upfront and caring towards the MC (and vice versa).

Edit: Everyone in the groups gives "comrade in arms" kind of feeling, male and female alike. It's only Io and Mia that gives me an impression that they have feelings towards the MC (quite obvious for the former and pretty subtle for the latter).

It's probably her Big Sister archetype kicking in to encourage and reassuring the MC that he/she can do it as they are not alone in the fight (everyone is here to help!), but I just can't shrug off the idea that Mia might have feelings to the (male) MC.

Obviously not canon until the Word of God says otherwise, but with the implications lying here and there, I think it's pretty interesting topic to discuss.

Male and Female MC viewpoints, different Endings experiences are welcomed. Share me your thoughts. Discuss!

Why I can't shrug it off? Well...
  • Our MC is generally very reliable and chill. Truly the Capybara of the gang.
  • The whole gang helps Mia even if she didn't (or can't) return the favour. In a world of Code Vein, that shows a really big kindness (you can thank Louis for that!).
  • Nicola is pretty sensitive topic for Mia at early game since she is still grieving the dead of "Nicola". The gang helps her to overcome and move on, with the MC (the only Revenant on the team that is capable to interact with vestiges without consequences) helps the most. Heck, when Mia confronted Nicola's Successor Vestige, the MC tries to console her, even holding her hand to face Nicola's memories together. That probably makes a very large impact for Mia.
  • After defeating the Mido, the MC is faced with a very colossal task to replace Silva on protecting the Gaol of the Mist for eternity. Everyone obviously raises concern, especially Jack and Eva, which make the MC doubts if he/she makes the right decision. Out of all people in the group, it is Mia who is the first to comfort the MC, even saying that she will follow you/walk by your side whenever they go. Cue in the shot where MC looks speechless by her respond.
  • After defeating the true final boss; The Virgin Born, it is Mia AGAIN who approaches the MC to reassure him/her that they can do it.
  • At the True Ending, Mia seems more vocal about MC's decision to tackle the Aragami alone as she scolds/expresses annoyance at them. Considering that she, along with Louis and Yakumo, made a promise that they will accompany the MC no matter where he/she goes, I guess that's valid reason to be mad.

... in this type of game the only feeling that i can justify for MC and the other Character is brotherhood/ comrade/ family nothing else

edit the feeling that mc gave me in this game is just an observer not real main character lol except in the last 2 location when he suddenly became a savior but that not the case either in the true end of the game. I still like the game though don;t missunderstood me

Honestly, I love games where the PC is not the MC. White Knight Chronicles did it as well and it is a wonderful change of pace IMO, not being stuck as the One True Hero, but instead a dude who is just there to go along for the ride adn enjoy the story. It also helps to prevent the whole. I would NOT have done that as the MC problems that crop up in some stories.

This is my initial thoughts and first impressions, as well (didn't think so far to family though!). Everyone (except Io) gives this vibe as we interact. This is why I'm not too sure if Mia does have feelings or not; leading into this discussion.

yep the change of pace is good. If the game let us choose whose side we are when the story reach Mido it will become a much better game on my opinion.

hmm i dunno, i'm still getting the vibe that there is no such feeling on this game, Mia/ Louis action (if you played female character) is still within the range of a friend who have a need to repay the said MC because he help them with their problem before. yeah family maybe going to far lol

Well, instead of Mia, I got that feeling with Yakumo. Mia's dialogue with our MC feels more like a sister talk for me, but with Yakumo... He's the only one who blatantly declare that he's worried about the MC, that MC should share their burden with him, and that they should told him immediately if they're feeling sick or just feel weird in general. I exhaust my dialogue with him, and he keep asking my MC whether they're feeling ok or if something is wrong.

But, it could also be because I play as a female MC, and I'm being biased. Yakumo is my most fave after all. Haha xD

Though in bad ending, Louis cried when he was forced to kill the MC, and he started to get into me too after that. LOL.

Ah yeah, sisterly vibes! Like I mentioned before, I also can't help but to notice that vibe as well. However, Murasame mentions that Mia MAY be the same age around her (roughly 16-17 years). Judging from our characters overall, I like to think that our characters are 20+ years, so I found it a bit weird that Mia goes ara ara big sister mode on us. Speaking of sisterly vibe, Murasame giving me the cheery little sister kind of thing....

And also, interesting point of view on Yakumo; he does feel like a caring brother towards the MC and the gang! Feels like that MC's relationships are dynamic depending on the gender, doesn't it?

I ship Mia with the male MC as well (sorry Io, you're cute and all, but Ai Kayano as seiyuu? Can't say no to that -- my inner Tohsaka Rin fan is melting whenever Mia speaks). I do agree she seems to care for the MC and is quite vocal about it (her base conversation ranging from expressing concern to thanking them often).
