What's a good level to cap yourself?
I'm currently level 25 and near the end of the second half of the cathedral, didn't have issues barring the two Losts and some fights. What is a good level to cap myself without making the game to hard for myself and not making the game easy?

im not sure about main story difficulties but in the demo there was a dungeon that required lvl 40 and good gear to beat it

Perhaps getting your revenant character to level 50 or 60 will make him or her a powerful damage dealing badass conqueror in this game hopefully and try to acquire at least 9999999 Haze currency for your revenant character also if possible just to be safe.

I had no issue getting killed around level 150 when I beat the game. The trick is to headbutt the weapon of whoever you're facing.

I see many people capping themselves at lvl 100 for whatever reason, and id say level 100 is a good place to stay until endgame. still easy to die and you deal a decent amount of damage.

Why would you cap yourself?

Literally not how the game works. Leveling has diminishing returns with a severe curve. You could level to 600 and not be much stronger than a level 20.

To be fair I've never really studied the gains per level to check the diminishing returns. Max level is 300 I believe.

As Veran wrote, you won't become a god because of your level, even if you are level 300.
You become a god with specific builds regardless of being level 100 or 300.
Considering coop is not limited by level, there is no reason to cap yourself.

Doesn't over leveling hurts the leveling of inheriting blood codes?

what? no, who told you that?

Yes, it does. However, the newgame+ with higher difficulty makes the game a LOT harder. So leveling up after you hit the newgame+, and choose the harder option, is not a problem. Plus the enemies scale to the new difficulty, so the gains in haze and gift leveling is fine.

Leveling abilities is said to be based on level vs level of monsters in the region.
level 200 stated this, as they can only level skills in specific situations now apparently.
