Code Vein doesn't start, no crash report no nothing, just doesn't start

I launch it it starts it shows the cursor shows it's loading for about 5 seconds then nothing, I opened task manager and it just closes, i tried verifying game files, redist installation, nvidia driver rollback, and most anything I could find online yet it still is not working.

I already contacted Bamco support, they said trying to start it without using antivirus. Still no result :/

I added it as an exception to my antivirus and it didn't work either

if you have 3rd party which has overlay feature try quit them / disable them
since some games really hate overlay, or event try disable steam overlay

I removed steam nvidia and discord overlay, but i don't think that's it, the game would at least start right?

this happens to me as well in other game, said Nazi Zombie Trilogy, the problem is the steam overlay, it just didn't launch at all, same as your, only few second appears in task manager, but simply auto close and disappear

if the overlay method didn't work, maybe something is injecting the game, or try using -windowed parameter? maybe problem with resolution game or something

ok just tried to change the resolution from the config file, it didn't work, don't know how to do the windowed one tho

right click your code vein from steam lib > properties > set launch parameter, input there, and try launching it

What should I put into the launch parameters?
Btw: I do get the game to launch like 1 in a 100 times, but suddenly the sound is missing. But only in game. When I try to relaunch it, the Game won't lauch again :(

-windowed for forced windowed mode
and also for @nino as well

have you guys tried to move the game files into different disk ? (not partition) but different HDD / SSD if you have multiple drive, just in case your drive is the one who fault

or IF you installed the game in drive C (which is in OS drive)
try right click the code vein.exe and CodeVein-Win64-Shipping.exe (in CODE VEIN\CodeVein\Binaries\Win64) > properties > check run as administrator
and try relaunch again

Just tried moving the game files, and i previously tried everything I could on that site, still not working

also I saw a lot of people saying that uninstalling avira worked for them, I don't have and never had avira, i have bitdefender and I whitelisted the shipping exe and the exe, so that doesn't work either, anyone have any other ideas?
