How to turn off enhanced difficulty?
Started NG+ with enhanced difficulty, don't like it. AI companion dies within the first few seconds of any boss, and you can take about two hits before dying, even at lvl 225.
I don't have the patience to learn every boss move by heart, and just imagining fights with the Connoneer/Blade Bearer boss or Boreal Brutes with that difficulty makes my feel dizzy.
I would rather play some multiplayer on normal.

How do I go back to normal difficulty?

Yeah, when I went to enhanced I was somewhat shocked by how large a step up it was. To be honest, it seems like NG+2. I can't see how it would be manageable on actual NG+2 and up unless you put together a really refined build.

You can "turn it off" when you beat the game again. Each time you complete the game, you get the option to scale up the difficulty even more, or drop it back down to regular.

About the only thing that happens by adding enhanced difficulty is... you die faster (and get boosted souls... (er... "haze") per kill). Which is sort of fun. Your an immortal vampire. Sometimes you should kill yourself, just to remember that your alive.

Yeah, nah, not gonna happen.
Save game editing / cheating would be more fun.

The biggest issue is there is 0 motivation to do it. No new items/content not even such simple thing like achievement.
3 different endigs each one with an achievment which you can get when killing the final boss... "no achievment" sigh.

I think they mean 0 motivation to play through on a higher difficulty.

That all deppends on the person i guess, but i like higher diffs at least. (i'm the kind of person that starts a fresh new game at the maximum allowed.

Thats technically not true, since you cant see all 3 endings in one run you will have to do NG+ at least 2 more times to get achievement for each of the endings, so you actually get an achievement for NG+.

You can do that on normal difficulty.
So, your complain is to play in higher difficulty doesn't give an achievement then?
As i previously said, that's on you. I like my life hard as a rock.

No, my complain is that higher difficulty doesn't change the game at all (except the difficulty), achievement is just one example.
Well, you're not forced to play it on higher diff. Again, that's up to you.

Make me wonder if 225 level is useless, level up seem gave tiny buff of just health and stamma, it's should gave lot more of health, stamma, and resistance of all kind as well, so boss can't kill player in few hits, and player should kill boss in few hit, due level like that.

Yeah, it is. The higher I get, the less my stats are increasing. I need a few levels just to increase stamina by 1. It's not rewarding at all.
I started NG+ to keep leveling, but I'm much better off just farming enemies in the last area on normal.

That's enhanced difficulty/ souls NG+ for you. If you're wearing anything other than defense oriented blood veils, you'll die in 1 or 2 hits. Though I didn't really have much trouble with Pyrough and Pornstein even with enhanced. Gilded hunter though...

levelling up has bigger and bigger diminishing returns, it starts being pretty much useless after a while. There isn't really any incentive in playing enhanced difficulty as it stands right now, the game is the exactly the same, but enemies have overinflated health/damage. It can be fun if you like the challenge or whatever, but some things are flat out overtuned an horribly balanced. I have been flat out oneshotted with 2900 health by gunners in the Dried-up Trenches that I didn't notice. And no, I am not kidding, the purple lost gunners did kill me with a single shot doing more than 2900 damage. That isn't difficult, that is just frustrating and dumb.

Purpose of leveling is stronger than your enemies and boss as well, make thing whole easier, not harder or stay harder. If game isn't get easier, then no point of have level, might well removed from design if game always hard.

Amen.

Beating NG+ with enhanced difficulty boils down to memorizing every single boss move by heart so that you won't be hit single time. That's no fun for me.
