All the Bosses Are Bad
The mooks are fine. All the bosses are terrible. Like every time I go into a boss fight, I'm like "let's just get this dumb shi- over with."

It sounds like you are burnt out on the souls-like genre but refuse to acknowledge it.

No, I've only played DS3 and Code Vein's bosses are terribly designed and not particularly rewarding.

All of it is just "spam spam spam," either spam attack or dodge until something is dead (you or boss) There's no reason to keep distance, because all of them have long range low telegraph distance attacks.

eeeeee in dark souls its just spam too funny inof so i dont understand the bosses there and minions mostly spam attack too and at some HP lowering they do some more heavyer attacks but spams those too sooo i dont see the difrence

Wait till you unlock heimdall stamina recover gift. You can literally waste all your stamina and use it when they bosses goes down.

did you use your companion? because if you did then thats why
lol, dark souls 3 bosses are way worse imo. there is at least 3 different ways you can cheese every single one of them depending on what character build you have, and even then if you're good enough at parrying bosses just become cannon fodder.

there IS a few, very few, good bosses in ds3 though, but i can count them all on one hand.

not sure what you're on about, every single attack in this game is heavily telegraphed. especially when you compare them to ds3 (which you apparently played, idk up to what point)

ah well, let him vent out his autistic complaints until he mans up and actually puts some effort into trying to progress.

...then watch him do it again upon reaching the next boss.

no it doesn't. it sounds like the boss design is garbage.

The bosses suck. If they're going to copy dark souls they should copy the parts that make it incredible, like boss and map design. "we need to make this game hard because from software is a god in the industry... so lets give bosses attacks that do aoe damage on the entire screen, then ♥♥♥♥ up the hit boxes so that you not only miss your attack even though the animation shows it connecting but then we'll have you swing wildly in the opposite direction even though you're locked on."

i like the game but i have some serious issues with how lazy the devs were. their attempt at making the game hard was bombard you with enemies and poor camera angles on tight terrain with knock back attacks and enemy types that can't be staggered so your animations are interrupted while being attacked by 5 npc's. there are bosses that use aoe and tracking attacks that they cast at you while facing and attacking your partner. the fat dude and skinny chick were so poorly designed and random fireballs exploding from under my feet after blocking and dodging 4 series of attacks was absurd. silva or whatever, the dude that goes frenzy and turns into a giant spider wolf looking thing is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. and there's a distance limit on casting gifts that's super short so you can waste a ton of ichor, which already is a stupid ass system with the average mage build only giving you 6 casts before needing to refill with melee attacks.

this isn't a hard game. i beat it with very few deaths. this isnt a "git gud" issue. its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy dark souls rip off issue.

put the effort of polishing combat mechanics in your game if you're going to steal from the best.
