Cathedral Invasions are way too difficult

Its a HUGE difficulty spike. What were they thinking including the fatass enemies in the spawn pool??? Your character's memories had way easier invasions.

I felt like the tutorial was over at that point. I ended up taking my haze stash and fleeing. I came back later after I powered up and kicked their ass. I never was good at these souls type games, however I'm getting through this one.

Took me two tries to beat the first one in the cathedral. It's supposed to be a spike in difficulty. If you're having too much trouble, just grab the item they're guarding and run to the nearest mistle.

No matter how difficult it was for me, I kept on trying eventually won too.

I'd say it depends which companion, or if you are even using one. If not, I would, just for the purpose of defeating it alone. I'd also recommend Yakumo, due to his AoE skills. I tried using Mia for it, but she's more of a Single Target Dps, and actually not as useful as I thought she'd be.

Alternatively, you could always do what I did this time around on my new character, and pretty much skip the entire story (not quite sure how I did it... beat one of the Cathedral bosses before I was supposed to), and got IO as an ally, and let's just say when it comes down to companions in my book. That particular one is the best companion for Dps, and Survivability.

The fat is easy, but it always stick close to the other, that when you attack them, that fatass will slam it hammer to your face

Bring Yakumo so he can tank for you.

Equip the 'NOPE' skill you get from coco's blood code, teleports you back to the previous mistle you visited at if you run into invasion you do not want to handle.
