Can't interact with the Goddess Statue

I beat the Butterfly of Delirium, but I can't interact with the statue for her to bring the ladder down. Is this a bug? I restarted the game and still can't do it.

I don't understand this either, I beat the next boss too but a guide tells me to interact with the statues

EDIT: Did you do the Howling Pit yet? Go back to the big pit in the city center ruins before the parking garage. Maybe you need to do this first?

Yep, after the butterfly, you go into the pit (an earlier fog door in the city ruins, not the one you're trying to use, that's for later).

The easiest way to find the pit is climbing down the ladder at the parking garage mistle and then stick to the right side until you're there.
