IGN Review 7/10 (bias against Anime?)

What do you guys think of IGN's below review. In my opinion it is awfully short and does not cover off on many things. It does not even delve into the decent visuals, NG+ with difficulty options, decent performance/optimisation or the fact that the game is of decent gameplay length.

I'm just gonna say Sparhawk, your attempt to defend the game just made it feel like the 7/10 is not misplaced, as in "decent" overall ahah.

I didn't buy the game, but for all the mechanics, locations and gameplay I saw I would give it a 7, maybe 7.5.

All I see is a plethora of weebs praising the game.

7 is not a really bad rating though.

It is more how the review was written. It lacked substance and did not cover off on everything. Did not even mention performance. Just a overall bad review.

The IGN review absolutely sounded like they didn't play anything more than the free demo. Their "review" was just a synopsis of this game that you can easily read on the back cover.

Anime game and as I do not see even breasts slider. Can not make waifu with big boobs. So I would not give it even 6/10, rest of game is not important at this point.

You don't own the game, and I doubt that you've even played it.

I played the demo. I dont care about the story or the graphics, i just need the gameplay to be good.

why against?? A 7 is a good grade... this game is a good game, 7 is way above average, which is a good grade... for a good game.

This game is farcry from a 10, 10´s should only be reserved to gamechanger titles.

I think 7/10 is a fine rating for a game like this. The customization is pretty bare bones compared to the souls games. I mean 5 weapon types and just like 2 variation in them? Yea snooze. The leveling is bland and the class system kinda blows cause all this together limits customization which allows you to approach the game in the ways you really want to Vs. set choices and some feeling very superior to others. For me especially wanting to be light and the only setup I was able to do so with is using the the bonus starting armor for 18 weight Vs having a set amount of weight used and some classes just seemingly to ignore the quick at all without using the evasion skill. The story you can kinda see what is going on pretty quick but it is not bad at all. Code Vein being a solid game is fine for it. You get your money's worth but you definitely don't get more than that and that isn't a bad review.
