IGN Review 7/10 (bias against Anime?)

What do you guys think of IGN's below review. In my opinion it is awfully short and does not cover off on many things. It does not even delve into the decent visuals, NG+ with difficulty options, decent performance/optimisation or the fact that the game is of decent gameplay length.

"Game is good, the only real cons is that enemies are too static, everything else is good". So you expect a 7.5-8/10 reading all that. Scroll down and... 6/10. Also, people seems to don't understand that in a game that last 50 hours you can't review the first 4 hours.

IGN reviewers don't even really play the games, they rush them like crazy.
Have you seen their review on Path of Exile?
It's as if the reviewer didn't understand or even play the game at all and is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Don't take their '' reviews '' seriously.

Exactly. With Code Vein's score of 7/10 they are implying that it is only slightly better than Anthem. Which is a load of bull. Anthem is an awful game that deserved a 3-4/10.

I can agree that most reviews right now sound like as if they only played the demo, but frankly I'd give the game a 7/10 as well. It's far too unpolished but it does have some neat ideas. The execution is all in all just really flawed.

It has a 70% on metacritic too, and tbh the game seems average, or slightly above average. And before you say I wouldn't like the game, or GIT GUD, check my profile. I've played dark souls 1, 3 and Sekiro, I skipped 2 because it seemed like a bad game, and yeah turns out it was a bad game. This game honestly doesn't look that good, especially the combat, it has no weight like the souls games do, no hit stun when you hit a enemy so it doesn't even feel like you're doing proper damage to the enemy. It seems like it has a lot of recycled enemies, which reviews have said on Metacritic is true. So it seems like the 7/10 is fair, it's a decent game but not a amazing game, certainly not on the level of dark souls or sekiro, well I for one won't be picking up Code Vein any time soon, maybe on a deep, deep sale I'll get it.
