Co-Op progression?
So I am trying to figure out how co-op works, I've never tried Co-op in dark souls and I only tried Nioh's co-op after completing it.

So here is the scenario: A friend and I buy this game to play together.

- Can I join his game, go from mission to mission as his companion? or do we constantly have to quit and redo every mission with me as host for us to continue playing together?

- Can I join his game if he has progressed further than me?

- Is there anything I will not get as a companion? items, exp, upgrades...?

1. Co-op ends when you defeat the boss so you'd need to go to the next area and send the signal again to continue playing. You'd also need to quit and redo it yourself because...

2. No, you need to have the area unlocked to be able to help someone there.

3. You cannot pick up items that are placed in the world (you can still get drops from enemies). Not 100% on this but co-op also changes your level to the host's so you might not get haze for it.

Aw okay, guess I will have to skip this game then, that's a shame.

I will try coop with friend. He will be host, because i don't care about achievements. But yes, it's not very convenient. I hope, at least, i can see videos after each chapter, not just wipe to base or something.

if you are higher lvl then the host like you are lvl 90 and the host is lvl 40 you will be around lvl 50 then. if he is lvl 90 and you lvl 40 you will be lvl 80 if you join him

Oh cool ain't seen any posts on level scaling :)

So you can basically join anyone anytime as long as you have that level then?even if it's a random? Cause that's already better than the ds way of doing things

Why can't you just alternate areas together? You'd basically have to run through the game twice, but at least it'll make for some nice haze farming.

Anyone know how haze works with co-op? do you get the full amount? I haven't played the demo since they added it.

Well the people before you seem pretty unclear if you even get haze for doing co op as summoned.
