Clothing: Too unique to be good?

I really enjoy what C:V has done with its clothing; providing a full outfit and allowing you to turn parts on or off... its a neat idea, not quite as good as simply having parts for each body, but still a splendid twist.. but is it just me or are the 5 clothing types so unique, so different from each other, that its hard to make the character you actually wanted?

Like we have a full-body suit for female that exposes little, and then we have essentially stripper outfits... why cant we combine both? Id love a tube-top from one outfit and the heavy leggings from the other, but we cant have that.. kinda bothersome?

Are we gonna get new outfits as the game updates? i really hope so.

You're saying that the base clothing is overly extravagant and simultaneously nothing to "work with" in terms of personal customization despite the absolute plethora of items: no, you are not remotely alone in that sentiment.

I agree with OP. It's fairly limited while they all look decent. When I put a veil on top and it doesn't fit at all it really is annoying. I'd like to interchange the outfit pieces. 🧐

Agreed we only have 5 sets of clothing that are static. It's not enough to really flesh out your character. Yes there are accessories but the accessories have a limit on how much you can place.

Not all the veils really help to distinguish your character either. If there was armor outside in the game example. Chest / Pants / Gloves/ Hats then the clothing presets wouldn't matter so much you would have a plethora of in game gear to change your character. I am hoping CV adds more options for this.

If anything the Veils make it worse, especially since your choice is absolutely dictated by stat needs. The recolors help a little but not much.

totally agree! I love the yellow uniform but don't like the leg parts, will be awesome if i can use the leg parts from other set

Would be so much better if we can edit the colors on our blood veil ourselves. I keep finding myself changing my outfit colors just so it would match the veil I use :/

And that makes my character losing her color code. Disappointing. Otl.

It would be nice if we can mix and match every piece.

We can have the current version as the 'Default'. Then have Advance Settings for us to do even more specific customisation.

Option to hide or customise Blood Veil would be great too.

I'd like to be able to mix & match tops and bottoms, like in God Eater.

But yes, it is nice to be able to turn parts of the outfits off.
