I was wondering if there are any similar games to this, I miss this type of game but am not excited to restart playing an old F2P again.

Definitely a top-down shooter, zombies are optional as long as I have the satisfaction to crush hordes like in this game. That means games like Hotline Miami are disqualified.

Multiplayer is optional too, but a preference.
I am also more willing to spend money on a good game, then get mediocrity for free.

Know anything like it?

there is a new game in early access called Dinogen Online which is also a top down shooter with survival modes (even zombies). most modes include dinosaurs which is pretty cool. the dev is also an ex-Flash game developer so it has that nostalgia

A game fairly similar to sas4 is alien swarm reactive drop. It is a few years old and does not have a large community, but is actually a high quality horde shooter. The game is also free ig.

Dinogen looks great, I remember playing Alien Swarm now that I see the game.

Well you can always go play the older SAS zombie Assault titles they hold up extremely well and don't require servers to play.

You can also play Dead Frontier (not the version on Steam but off their website, two totally different titles). Its a zombie survival game that can get quite hectic as you move deeper and deeper into the city.

Except for Alien Shooter 2 (and going off the storepage even that one is a stretch), none of those are even in the same genre as SAS let alone top down shooters. The only thing remotely similar to SAS4 is the top-down/ asymmetrical view. Not even touching on the fact that none of them are even any good (I wish the PC port of Gauntlet was but its pretty trash and not worth buying at all)

if u want straight up copies of sas 4 theres

"Dead Zombie Shooter: Survival"
and
"Zombie Shooter: Survival Games"
both got generic names but they are basically lower budget sas , and of course they are mobile
