^What this guy said. Pretty much NK abandoned it. But look on the bright side, its mostly PVE so the most annoyance you'll have is not winning LMS events. Otherwise its a free bonus for you (altho too many makes a boring game)
On one instance I didn't even fire a shot and managed to win in under 30 seconds by luring runners into unsuspecting players and blocking them with crates. It's a win, but it's really douchey.
I think the game should base the points more on number of waves survived, with an exponential bonus for the higher-ranked survivors. That way it would reward both actually trying to survive into high waves AND being the last man standing.
I think Apocalypse is a worse event mode. It's almost guaranteed that any level 90+ that I happen to play with will quit the game at wave 20-21. When considering time spent/points gained, going above that threshold is meaningless. It's better to just start a new game.
