Cant start the game anymore

Title says it all, unable to open this game anymore, it says its starting then just stops

I do not know the cause.

Was the game working fine before?

Try common improvement.
- reboot PC
- re-install SAS4
- re-install Steam

Was working fine before the last update.
Attempted to restart the PC
Re-installed it several times
Tried
- running SAS as admin
- Tried running Steam as admin
- Tried running both as admin
- Tried starting it via its .exe file
- Tried starting it in compatability
- Updating Nvidia drivers.
- Limiting the affinity of the app

Haven't reinstalled Steam as that sounds like a pain to do.
Every other game I have still works fine.
Just was interested in the new update and also wanted to introduce some people to the game.

Have you tried going to control panel and repairing Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) or the (x64) version? I had an issue launching and I found out when I opened the file locations of SAS 4, I was missing files when I launched from the application in the steam folder.
Here is what I did to fix: Not sure which of the two fixed it. Maybe both are needed.
Open Control Panel
-> Uninstall a program
-> Right click Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) or (x64).
-> Select uninstall or change, doesn't matter
-> Click repair

I am unsure why, but I cannot see 2015-2019 only 2015-2022 which I will give a go at.

So did you click "repair" for "2015-2022"?
2015-2022 is a compatible program for 2015-2019.
