Hacking on "Virus Samples" leaderboard?

I was looking through the leaderboards just to see what qualifies top 1%. Imagine my surprise when some guy is taking the #1 spot with 50,000 points... when.. the next up has only 13,712.
I don't know the point limit for this game mode, but I feel like a 37,000 point gap is a little... funny. Especially between the #1 and #2 spots. Anyone else think someone's playing a little numbers game in SAS4's code?

I had the same thoughts. I mean I made 9800 points, and it was really a load of games to play...

yo i legit was make invincible and we went for 40 rounds but then my game crashed lmfao...i have no idea how it happened but i think thats what someone is doing, making someone else god so they can collect the points and not take the blame idk

Point of info: I don't have documentation, but earlier in the day on Dec 11, HarishPutra was at exactly 50k points, as per the post above.

I just played a few more matches, and I checked out of curiosity. Lo and behold, he is now at 25,673. It's now late afternoon, US time.

I can't recall the scores of the rest of the top 5 from earlier, but I think they were not too far off from where they are now (i.e. about 12k points).

Scores alone don't necessarily prove anything, but these scores are simply implausible.

It may not be, but also consider this: I took that screenshot at 9:40am US central time, which is not long after the event started. I actually started playing earlier than that, and I am pretty sure he had the same score, or very similar. So, HarishPutra had 24k points maybe 4 to 6 hours after the start. Early in the day, the next-placed guy had 7k points.

Also, as I type this, we are at about 9 hours remaining in the event, and he is still at 24,672 points, with second place at 11,587 points.

Well even if we're agreeing this HarishPutra is hacking... is there any way to get Steam/NK to do anything about it?

I don't believe my luck - I may have got matched up with HarishPutra himself. We got matched on Last Man Standing today.

This HarishPutra is a level 48 assault with 41 adrenaline, 20 killing spree, and 20 BAE. That's prima facie evidence. Most of you will know that you can't have more than 25 points in one skill, and that as a level 48, you have exactly 48 skill points (and he has at least 81 points).

He looks like he has a bunch of [RED] armor and some decent [RED] weaponry, although they are higher than his drop range, especially the Shockfield. Despite not having biosynthesis on his main weapon, his health bar rarely declined much (although do note he could have switched to his Mustang, and I heard him do it a handful of times). The second screenshot is just as I died - for the record, he did die shortly after that. The shot with him at full health is mid event, when I thought he should have taken some significant hits by then. The last shot is just after he took a bit of damage; to the best of my recollection, he restored his health pretty quickly (note the Mustang).

Also, his movement speed was pretty high, and about on par with mine. I have 22 fast movement, although I don't have the power assist vest. The other two screenshots are grabs mid-event. Last, for the record, he had about 3800 kills, and I had over 6k. I didn't manage to screenshot that.

Clearly, this guy hacked his skill points at the very least. If this is the same guy who got 25k points in Apocalypse, I would also suspect him of hacking the damage values on his weapons. It would be hard to kill enough bosses with a [RED] 7*** Stripper.

I'm aware. I have a [RED] 10*** with tenacious, OC, and adaptive. I nonetheless have a hard time buying that someone could legitimately hit 24k points in Apoc with a [RED] 7*** Stripper, especially by the time multiple bosses are on the screen.

Side note: Mr. Putra is on the LMS leaderboard with 242 points as I type this. Next 4 players have 102-111 points.

Yep i recently started playing this game and i did notice that guy. He is always on top. I have started coming across a lot of cheaters.

He wasn't taking any damage BUT the game wasn't lagging which i usually associate with cheats being used so i am not sure about this person.
I don't care for cheater till the time they start ruining my experience like game crashes when i found 2 nano chests, yes that happened recently.

I do wish this Putra person gets looked into.

Sam, from NinjaKiwi, said they would get the player(s) involved checked out. He gave no direct confirmation that the player was banned. Given the obvious alteration in skill points, I'd assume that this guy was banned, however.
