Need advice on gear
Right now I'm stuck on whether
-should I keep my Heavy trooper vest (10* Fortified, Tissue Repair) or switch to R4 Guardian Vest (10* 2 slot, no augs yet)?
-should I sell my normal TITAN IDS (5* Hazchem, Nimble) for a Shotlite glove (10* 2slot no augs)
-just sold my hold Trooper pants and can't decide on Hardplate or R4 (both 10* 2slot no augs).

I'm trying to find a good balance on movement and defence since my experience on the events saw me getting 2 shotted by a Savage Wicker or taking too much damage from spitters that Biosynth and Tissue repair can't keep up
*still keeping my normal titan helm and boots because their bonuses are just too good to sell.

-switch (put fire resis and fortified, get a weapon with bio)
-no (will end up with pretty much the same reload%)
-r4 (hardplate should only be used by a heavy with 25 heavy gear)

Oh thanks man, your guide is pretty helpful btw although it was hard to decide because it doesnt show movement speed (which is, imo, its pretty much an important factor to consider)

imo 35% is enough but more than 55% isn't really necessary.
You can check your actual movement speed clicking your character name after you select him.
For example i have 40% with my resistance chest armor and 58% with rubicon power assist to grind ammo packs or pods, with my heavy (10 points in mov speed).

Well it's about what level are you. Literally if you wanna balance, you should keep one argumenst from pants and boots for speed moving - Pick selected elemental resist to armor when is the most profitable like if your armor is 108P 73F 223A keep upgrading the acid resist. Also upgrading fire resist is less efficient than physical or acid so even if one piece of armor have more basic fire resist try avoid.

Also you can buy hp% argument and is the best in hight level character. Notice too each piece of armor have some additional stuff like 10% to reload, 5% to fast reviving etc.

Movement speed

Pikc the i symbol to see what item give you resist or additional adds.
Look into what arguments you have
Even you can see COLLECTIONS for see what piece of each armor have stats

You can also look here http://saszombieassault.wikia.com/wiki/Defense_Augments

Currently level 47 Heavy, 25 points in tough body, 9 points in mov speed...
My main bulk of resist comes from the chest and leg armor pieces because the titan helm, gloves and boots provide sweet bonuses (damage, reload and mov speed).

Didn't get lucky with my nantonium boxes thats why im stuck with Ronson armor pieces (better fire resist)

Focus on offense not defense, 25 tough body is a waste at this stage of the game...

Offense? so Fast Reload and Hold the Line?
tbh I have no idea on the weapons... Been using a 3** Red Stripper and I can't find a good replacement for it
Mars Dawnwright Nov 1, 2017 @ 5:51pm
honestly hold the line ability is a bit of a liability due to the fact you can only get the most of it if you stand still, and standing still is not a good idea.

also the stripper is a fantastic weapon with its high damage over time, i hope you have tenacious on it right?

Right now I'm thinking of replacing my CM505 with a more ammo efficient, mob-clearing weapon.
Should I pick (10***): Hotspot, Hard Thorn, Starburst, Flamethrower? or should I just use 5*** mixmaster till I get a better one?

Yeah, the 3** stripper came with tenacious and clip size augs on it. Thing is, HD ammo or damage buffs doesn't seem affect DoT effects. If I ever get a 10*** one I'll put tenacious, Overclocked and RaceModded/Capacity on it
