And also, the min spec is a gtx 970, while the quest is significantly weaker than that. They would need to really, really downgrade the visuals to get it running on a quest.
And also..you see....the min spec for VR in general was the gtx 970 - but still we see games like the Climb, Red Matter, Space Pirate Trainer, Quake1-2, Half Life 1, Job Simulator and things like Vader Immortal, Espire 1, Robo Recall and on and on and all on that small thing. Hell...we even got Star Trek Bridge Crew on there and it is a blast ^^
Yes there will be a downgrade, but it shouldn't be that dramatic. If possible you should try out a Quest before dismissing it as a weak system. And also...playing without the cable is all i needed from VR(except you want to play Asgard's Wrath, Stormland or Half Life Alyx...then i would use the Rift S or just the Link cable)
And the reason why i asked that is...the graphics are not exactly high end with Gal*Gun. I could see it working quite easily in fact. But i don't know if Oculus is up to it...i mean...for now everything is heavily curated.
Just check out what the Quest is capable of:
