Can't disable crossplay on PC

The game says you can turn off crossplay in the privacy tab, but this is only true on consoles. I don't want to play with console players but can't opt out, but they're allowed to opt out of playing with PC players? That doesn't make any sense and I hope this is changed soon.

Same. There is 50K+ players on steam. No reason to force us to play again auto aim.

That's exactly the reason I want to turn it off. I consistently have fun when I'm playing against PC players, win or lose it usually feels fair. When I get matched with console players, I'm screaming and raging because you can literally watch them miss a shot in the killcam and the game decided it was a headshot. M&KB players never have that same issue happen, aside from the occasional lag spike which is rare. Additionally, console players have ping issues FAR more often than PC players I've noticed.

At first I was convinced they were hacking, not realizing that Crossplay is forced 'ON' but the more I watched the killcams the more I realized the game was compensating them and giving them hit reg priority. That's when I finally noticed the controller icon with a blue background signifying they're on console. Normal profile pic means they're on PC, controller means they're using a controller on PC (with no auto aim) and controller with a blue background means they're on console and have full auto aim enabled.

I've been trying to report this feature omission to the devs all night with no success. I'm going to keep trying. It feels so weird that all the other platforms have this option, but PC players are forced into having a less customizable, and objectively less enjoyable time.

i think if you are having issues in casual with this. then you just are at a lower skill level. but if you are talking about ranked which i havent experienced. then i would believe it. cause there are people plenty good with a controller out there and aim assist im sure gives them a boost.
But in casual controller or not, i dont have any issues with players since most arent very good or knowledgable with the map. i have more complaints about the Spawn system in this game than i do aim assist.

Regardless of skill level, all the other platforms have an option to disable this feature, except PC. Do PC users not deserve the option to give themselves a different experience, for better or worse? It's user choice, and users on every single other platform this game is released on have that choice and we don't on PC.

What about the other way around, people having it too easy because console players aren't challenging enough for them? They should have the option to exclusively play against people using the same controller type as them to even the playing field. Again as stated above, console users have this option already.

What are you talking about the blue and a controller in regards to signifying the input? All I see is a BLUE\RED square with either a PS or Xbox controller? No way of telling if they're PC or not. Occasionally there are ?'s too.

Get a controller emulator. Free online and makes the game think your mouse is a controller so you get aim assist. Only way to make it fair until they give us the same options. Dont understand what went through their heads when thinking giving one platform the option and not the other.

that exactly why I want M+KB only shooters. Besides the millions of hacks out there its almost undetectable when people run controller emulator to get aim assist on mouse or use cronus/strikepack to increase aim assist on controllers.

Yes and thats the point to didnt Play the Game until they fix this. On Consoles you can disable Crossplay, what is the Point to not let the checkmark on PC dont understand it...

Same issue here. Didn't bother me at first because the newbie queue was easy. Now I back out of games if there's more than 1 controller user, making the experience worse for them and myself. If the devs wanna keep people from backing out of games, they NEED to let us disable crossplay. I'm actually not playing much anymore because I have to back out of 10+ games just to get 1 match in.
