I rarely get drops now that I completed the BP and reached over 10 levels. In fact, I don't even think I get drops from EXP or by playing the game anymore. Perhaps it's based on how many you get per week? In any case, I don't think there's a real issue with the drop rates for skins.
not good idea to make drops not marketable. I would buy more, if I could resell them later.
The game doesn't market any of the current skins so why should drops be like CS:GO cases?
I do agree that if it was marketable I would buy more and resell, but since it hasn't started out like that it'd be a lot harder to implement the marketplace.
I meant: all skins you get by any means go into Steam inventory. Not lootboxes, but "results" of it opening.
I don't want to bring bad news, but I did some math simulations (and I am good at it), and they either will soon radically change the drop and market system, or find out, that the game will only make money with 100 % payed battlepasses.
They already invested millions into server infrastructure (according to news I red) and current system gives them ZERO money from people investing ZERO money in game. Marketability of skins allows to make money even with ZERO investment players over game-specific taxes when skins change the owner.
I don't know about anything about that, but I supported the game by buying 75 dollars worth of coins. It's a great game that should live on, so whatever they decide what's best for that is okay with me. Good information though!
