Console 'aim assist'

Edit: Before you go on to comment how that because I complain about something, I must be horrible at the game and you are infinity better than me. Let me say, I am not against aim assist. I do think that in games, especially cross-platform games that have KBM (Keyboard and mouse) players, aim assist is absolutely necessary. I play some games on console that should and did have aim assist. What I am saying here is that the aim assist provided in this game is just too much.


So you boot up splitgate, play for a little bit, and then some console player comes along and annihilates everyone because of the op aim assist. I have a replay saved where he wasn't even aiming at the bodies of his targets, but still almost every shot hit. Also, the aim assist even let him shoot through walls a few times. my point is, Console aim assist is way too op, and needs to be dialed down, or there needs to be an option to turn off cross-play.

I watched the aim assist perfectly lock onto me while I was jiggle peeking, it tracked me behind the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall.

Console players are trash.

(Also he's not good at aiming if he's making this complaint. Logically speaking nothing this OP is stating is making any sense. A good mechanically skilled mouse user would notice this.)

Case in point, this wisdom was brought to you by a player with ~5 hours of play and less than 500 kills and less than 25 portal kills.

That's right, the guy with less portal kills than fingers and toes (if you account for the probable extras on this fine specimen) is here to teach you how to play.

I have 36.7 hours of playtime, (I also had to stop 2 days in a row because of a bug,) and 1400 kills. I usually only use portals for travel, and not as traps.

Here's something interesting I discovered when testing the aim assist on controllers, if you start throttling your net speed by playing a podcast in the background (something that buffers allmost constantly) the aim assist keeps going even after the enemy moves behind wall so you get a mini wall hack.

They just need to give us Crossplay option. I dont underdtand why they give other platforms the option to turn it off and on but they dont allow PC players to even have the option.
For me personally if I wanted to go against controller players I would buy a console.
